Watch what you laugh at.

Do you make notes to yourself? I have a stack of them. As I am writing a novel and use a new name, I try to remember to make a note of it. If something is done at a particular time, I try to log it on a note. I cut my old paper in quarters, I have the stack right here in front of my key board. When I need make a note it is here. Wonder why I can’t just make a note sheet and page to it, for my notes. Nah, that is too easy. I go thru this stack fairly quick if I have a question.
My mind will not leave those folks in Haiti. Everyone there has a story. No matter how poor, you still love your family. You still suffer if you lose a child. The pain is the same.
We would love to go down there, but we would be in the way. It takes a massive effort and a lot of brains and coordination to use all the volunteers they are getting. Remember, ten thousand volunteers will need fresh water, food, etc. The problem compounds. We must pray for them, and if you are able donate to someone who will go down to help. Sherry and I went to two charities we trust, and donated over the internet. WE have been blessed in our lives; it makes you feel good to help someone else.

On a lighter note:
Hey Rose! We got that Nettie pot! I was making tea in it. Later I laughed when Sherry stuck the spout up her nose!

Sherry said, ‘stick it up your nose!’
I said, “Yeah? Well up your nose with a rubber hose!”

(Then the fight started, All Rose's fault !!!!!) LOL

I had honestly never heard of a Nettie pot. Have you? I especially didn’t know you put it up your nose!!! That was a line on the Sweat Hogs, on Welcome back Cotter, “Up you nose with a rubber hose!”

Sherry described it like,"You feel like you are near the ocean smelling salt air." And you do.

Weight loss, exercise and get in shape. Okay Sherry made that New Years resolution: How is she doing?

Yeah, I think so too. She B one ‘IN shape lady!’.

Nite Shipslog
PS:
Have you noticed, your kids are turning into another you...and you don't like them! LOL

...but your grandchildren are perfect!

They are warning everyone to get out from down there. I heard a doctor talking on TV and he says they will all have to pack up and leave. They can hear gunfire in the distance. Violence is taking over. I pray that things will calm down so the injured can be treated.
Yes, I heard of the Nettie pot a few years ago.
Have a good night. Helen

Someone told us about the Nettie Pot a few years ago. I had never heard of it before then and then I saw it at Wal*Mart. I don't like to stick anything up my nose. Whoo whoo Sherry is looking gooood. Why don't I look like that when I go to Curves?

Together with the books for my students there is always a notepad with me in my bag, a couple of pencils too, just the mind takes a bit of time to arrive.
Being in love with tea, just wonder as well what that Nettie Pot would be.
Well, it's now close to four in the morning and in six hours I have to leave for lessons, which demands for sure a stif tea.
Please have you all a wonderful Saturday.
p.s.: off for a hopefully "all nighter", as Stefan does sleep quiet good tonight.

Dr. Oz talked about the Nettie Pot and showed
how to use it. The best thing I have found is at Wal-Mart "Saline Nasal Spray. Equate Brand not as expensive as the Pot. You can spray or
just have a stream. You squeeze twice in each nostril as needed. You can fill the sodium solution flowing down your throat. It is good.
It is for dry membranes. Jack this information
and advise is free. HEE HEE

Good entry. I have been watching to much of the disaster in Haiti. As you said there is not much private individuals can do. Then when the food aid truck had to speed away because people were crushing women and children trying to get in the truck , no one could control them so the truck had to leave. I have heard of a nettie pot but don't want to use it. TodAY IS MY jOE'S BIRTHDAY.
