It's easy to get distracted, not so much an age thing either :) Enjoy the great Northeast, awesome country!Glendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01729245550131715085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-91891190140657640982012-07-25T18:31:35.826-04:002012-07-25T18:31:35.826-04:00How thoughtful an entry. ...hee hee...
Everything is better with chocolate...

It is interesting to «Louis» how in the immediate post-war years in some ways GM was the industry leader in styling, but in other ways lagged. Case in point is the '50 Chevy you post here. On the one hand, GM pointed the way to the fin fad of the late '50s with the P-38 fighter plane-inspired taillights on the '49 Cadillac, yet GM was late to the party with the fully-enveloped body as witnessed by the rear fenders on this '50 Chevy not being enveloped by the rest of the car body. GM did not go to the fully enveloped body until the next generation which was launched in 1952. Studebaker (1947) and Ford (1949) were ahead of GM on this.Louis la Vachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039777863022193315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-68819923818954676142012-07-25T09:02:12.052-04:002012-07-25T09:02:12.052-04:00We all have those kind of days when things go wron...We all have those kind of days when things go wrong, but one little mistake isn't enough to make you stop. I see my kids forget things too all the time. Visiting a chocolate shop sounds like a great way to spend some time. Enjoy your crab stew too and the visit with your friends. The traffic is sooo bad on the two lane road to the ranch. If it wasn't for the shoulder lane we couldn't do it and it's getting harder and harder. we're even afraid to drive to some of the little bergs we used to ride to such as Tilden, Texas. The "big boom" is good for some people but not us.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007728342316668058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-73220663481079983312012-07-25T00:32:14.177-04:002012-07-25T00:32:14.177-04:00You are right.
