And seriously, getting an autographer picture? :( Who might have blamed your friend for turning into a bitter sort! Instead, he goes on to work with JA and volunteers with a smile on his face?
We should all take a page.
How blessed you are to know him, Jack, and call him friend! It's a balmy 65 here today but high winds are blowing some colder air back in our way. Maybe snow for Thanksgiving.I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-79643899826016449932014-11-24T14:15:16.128-05:002014-11-24T14:15:16.128-05:00Glad to see your blog about Bill.

I sat with Bill and 2 of his friends and we had a ball talking and laughing. He still has a sense of humor. Everybody would stop and talk to him. He still makes speeches. Someone
comes by and picks him up. When he
goes out he makes sure he has
his Marine Cap, His mind is
still sharp but his steps are getting a little slower. He gave
his driver License up..he said I
think is was best.

shirl72https://www.blogger.com/profile/17268124369207064149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-74110214146385159002014-11-24T13:22:37.297-05:002014-11-24T13:22:37.297-05:00Very interesting.Very interesting.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007728342316668058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-86433289329725522342014-11-24T09:53:41.457-05:002014-11-24T09:53:41.457-05:00Enjoyed reading the story of Bill. But I guess it was a different time back then and these days his earlier life might have been different. It does seem though that he has had a happy well productive life!

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
