Hubby and brother did mighty fine as a duet with guitars but alas didn't go far with it.

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-66970811582342179352017-07-01T19:22:05.116-04:002017-07-01T19:22:05.116-04:00I loved and still love the songs of the Everly Bro...I loved and still love the songs of the Everly Brother's. You have so many friends Jack and Sherry I think that is wonderful. Lots of nice tidbits too. We just got back - from Gatlinburg with my daughter, Andy, and his friend. And I think I was the OLDEST grannie going down those slides and may I say I was not to graceful, but I did it. Remember Ted Mack's Amateur Hour? One girl from the summer camp I attended ('61) performed a dance routine, right there in prime time. (*smile*) Of course, her career never took off, but we thought it was pretty neat.

We could do without all the posturing and popularity that goes on about shows like "America's Got Talent" and "The Voice", but dang(!). Were it not for these shows, there's be thousands of undiscovered Jim-and-Bub's out there!Mevely317https://www.blogger.com/profile/14786988262452989091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-38252620548657995582017-07-01T09:18:57.771-04:002017-07-01T09:18:57.771-04:00Thanks for sharing another great memory and your f...Thanks for sharing another great memory and your friends. Now I'll be singing too. Once a song gets planted in your mind it tends to stay there awhile. It sounds like your friends could have made it big if pursued. I can also smell fresh baked bread out of the bakery you mention....mmmmm.mmm. As for Frank, our Poncho, our first paint as kids, could have been Frank's twin, what a great horse Poncho was. My Daddy used to sing "Wake Up Little Susie" to me in the morning....my middle name is Suzanne and he always called me Susie-Q.
loved yet another great entry, my friend.
love n' hugs from up north where we'll visit Andy's family at a nearby campground today.

Darhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16642092433299872708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-15276631249214828102017-07-01T02:46:13.542-04:002017-07-01T02:46:13.542-04:00i love the everly brothers, so i'm sure i'...i love the everly brothers, so i'm sure i'd love to hear Jim and Bub. and you too jack. that bakery sounds heavenly.TARYTERREhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620999913159718018noreply@blogger.com
