This is a Log as we travel to keep us in touch with the real world. We spent a lot of time in the real world now we love the space in the travel world. We live and love full time in our motor home. We tow a Honda CRV to scout around in. We have driven to Alaska and all the lower 48 states. We parked and took a side trip to Hawaii. After traveling in over 20 countries we are most proud of the 1900+ miles we hiked on the Appalachian Trail. Our plans are to travel as long as our health allows.

Our Fourth of July Parade
Folks decorate the golf carts they bring up to drive around the park over the fourth. I used to laugh at the carts. Forgetting that these folks come here to relax, not for exercise. They come to get away from WORK. Some have health problems and they cannot walk on these hills. here are some of the more decorated carts.

Love to see the flags blowing in the breeze. Thank you Brother for the time you served protecting our wonderful Country. You are a hero in my eyes and I love you. Enjoy the 4TH.
ReplyDeletePS: I need a Golf Cart.

cute decorated golf carts; never thought of that idea. Enjoyed the pictures of you/Sherry by the flags. Thought you would enjoy this, Jack/Sherry, but at church tonight the choir that did a patriotic concert the past two nights did one song before the pastor preached. They did a medley of the songs from the different branches of the military and the pastor said for people that were at church when their song came on to stand up so they could be honored so when the Army song was sung and Army people stood up and everyone clapped, then the Navy, Marines, etc. I thought that was a nice gesture!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys have a good day tomorrow!
