(There's probably a comedy line in there somewhere, but I'm not that quick anymore.)
Back in the 70's I used to enjoy hearing over-the-road truckers talking to one another on their CB's. One, in particular, cracked me up when he called a flat-bed hauling lumber a 'mobile forrest.'

So glad to learn your elderly neighbor wasn't seriously injured. His story's all too common, isn't it? I too look at big trucks to see what they are carrying and then try to guess where they are taking it. I once saw a truck carrying nothing but glass. If see a Chicken truck, I laugh for hours.

Keep driving and stay safe
LisaLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109633602729593188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-85366117559496672152016-06-13T09:56:13.610-04:002016-06-13T09:56:13.610-04:00I hope I realise when I should stop driving. I've never seen fire hydrants on a truck before, but stands to reason they have to get where they are going somehow. We owe a lot to those truckers.I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-70712791149085985982016-06-13T03:25:32.687-04:002016-06-13T03:25:32.687-04:00Makes me wonder if the older fella lost feeling in...Makes me wonder if the older fella lost feeling in his legs right before the accident? amazing he walked away unscathed.
