Yes, I love Betty's advice.

Long ago someone said they believed "Worry is a prayer to the devil." Pretty upsetting, no? Prayer trumps all else! EVERYTHING is in HIS hands. He will see us through and HE always does. I wish I'd listened to that same advise years ago raising our families....sometimes we just forget.
Loved this entry. Prayer works.
love n' hugs your way from our way where I've been bringing bird feeders inside each night. It is truly all in His hands! Better to pray than to waste time worrying. I know when my children left home I had the worst time of it and finally just decided the good Lord could take better care of them than me anyway. Me too - worry free today!I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-83667921988649952952017-05-23T07:52:04.363-04:002017-05-23T07:52:04.363-04:00It lost my comments. That was good coffee sitting on main street looking at the park. We will have to do it again.shirl72https://www.blogger.com/profile/17268124369207064149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-64272165459917868932017-05-23T05:27:16.643-04:002017-05-23T05:27:16.643-04:00I've become a real worry wart (heard that expr...I've become a real worry wart (heard that expression?),but after reading this advice from you and Betty I'm going to try to do better.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007728342316668058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-80144497101368507332017-05-23T00:26:30.438-04:002017-05-23T00:26:30.438-04:00Thanks for the shout out, Jack. I still worry more...Thanks for the shout out, Jack. I still worry more than I know I should, but it does help to write it down and to surrender it to God. I also say when dealing with a particular thing "Lord, this didn't catch you by surprise, so help us through it." Another thing that helps is remembering how God has come through with other things in your past. Our pastor preached a sermon a few weeks ago about God being faithful. It stuck a cord with me in that God is faithful. He can't be anything but faithful and there's a Bible verse (too lazy to look it up right now) that says even if we aren't faithful, he still is faithful. So putting everything into perspective, worrying does no good but only adds stress, sleepless nights, etc. So why worry? (though I do struggle with this from time).

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-39791182521715824072017-05-22T23:55:53.112-04:002017-05-22T23:55:53.112-04:00Good advice to let your worries go.Good advice to let your worries go.TARYTERREhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620999913159718018noreply@blogger.com
