I'm sure the visit brought back lots of memories.

Dad & Mom had an old station wagon when I was a kid but I can't remember what kind it was. Needed lots of room to haul 9 kids around. My brother who was a year younger than me would take me out in the field in that old car and try to teach me how to drive a straight shift. In the meantime Dad bought a car that was automatic and that was all she wrote I never did learn how to drive a straight shift.

Love ya!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039342776866311508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-75768731868053163592012-04-20T22:06:50.483-04:002012-04-20T22:06:50.483-04:00Ah! He staked his career and the future of the company on those cars. That was part of the reason why he walked away from the planned merger with Studebaker and Packard when he suddenly became the boss at American Motors when George Mason died.Louis la Vachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039777863022193315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-70330588092122985212012-04-20T21:42:14.397-04:002012-04-20T21:42:14.397-04:00You have wonderful friends.
