As long as I have a half decent one that gets me from point A to B.

When I was younger - about 16 - my dad had a friend who worked on cars - they got a 1968 Ford Torino - red convertible with a white top - with white leather seats - and he had that man paint my name on both fenders Sandie K. Well at 16 when you want to be normal and blend I did nothing but not blend. lol I hated it, but I drove it.

SandieChatty Cronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02232040517217024681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-76349440956550144832012-06-02T20:57:14.047-04:002012-06-02T20:57:14.047-04:00I loved my 59 Dodge two door hardtop white with bl...I loved my 59 Dodge two door hardtop white with black fins.
Dad would not let me have a convertable said no protection if
it turned over didn't want me to
have a hardtop. His parents had a '53 Plymouth the same red you show here. It was a Cranbrook 4 door sedan. Like you, «Louis» likes that MG as well. A local mechanic (who also owns a very fine '32 Ford Model A) has an MG very similar to the one you show.Louis la Vachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039777863022193315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-79780111521371313402012-06-02T19:04:36.713-04:002012-06-02T19:04:36.713-04:00My first car was a 1965 Ford Mustang. Never has a car I've driven been completely and truly MINE. They always belonged either to Daddy or my husband and were provided to me to get me about from place to place. The closest I've come to having one of my own is the used Chevy Lumina sedan I drive now. It is white and not the color I would have chosen, but I have gotten used to it. I don't know what I would choose if I could have a classic all my own. I do like to look. My son and I note the other cars on the highway and enjoy discussing which one fits my alter ego. :-)
You never know when the stodgy old lady driving a sedan has an alter ego inside who is scratching off in a sporty muscle car.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874656382203957840.post-28963946600415246112012-06-02T13:31:35.052-04:002012-06-02T13:31:35.052-04:00If I had to drive a classic then I'd drive wha...If I had to drive a classic then I'd drive what I had as my very first car. A '56 Ford. I loved that car and drove it till it couldn't be fixed any more. Now I'm still driving a Ford. It's a 2003 Focus. I like it pretty well but doesn't compare at all. The rain has stopped here and the sun is out, still cool though.
