Friends & Halloween

Ben and Me in our pool back when we were rich.

Sonny and Colette at Kennebunkport (The Bush place in the background)

The one with a covered bridge is in North Carolina, and that is our first Motor home.

The red top building is in Nova Scotia

Today's entry:
We are in Leesburg Florida this week. Enjoying the company of our friends and former pastors. Leesburg is the first place in Florida Sherry ever came to. We were down here when she found out or around the time she knew she was pregnant with our first son Jack. This sweet honest Church going girl wanted an orange so bad I was forced to take one from a grove. Back then that was expected of folks from the North, who had never seen an orange growing.
Well I should know something soon about the book. It has been approved for sale at my web site at creativespace.
https://www.createspace.com/3356727
I do not know what the shipping charges are but I understand they are pretty steep.

Once the production is in high gear I will let you know on this Blog, and I will have them available HERE! (With the author's signature if you want it) The price here will be LESS than creative space for a while. I certainly appreciate all your interest and moral support. When I started the novel a couple years ago I think it was something I never planned to finish, just somethig to talk about.
I saw Sticky clearing a lot a year or so ago, had a chance to climb up on the track of his loader and hug his neck. We talked for a minute, and I mentioned I was trying to write a book using his name he said,
“Aw pshaw, git out of here!”
I jumped down from the loader and watched him work the loader. He was doing the grading for a couple duplexes just a couple block from Shirl. I was standing by one of his workers, “That is one of the best guys I think I know!”
The guy looked at my funny wrinkled his brow,
“^&*&^%$#. Huh man, sometimes I think he the devil!”
Just goes to prove, we all can look at others differently, huh? Sometimes I wonder how folks see me, do you?

I think Halloween is coming, are you ready? Do you want to carve a pumpkin? If you have time it is fun. Carve one, and finish, it will light up for you!@

Thanks for coming by the LOG.

PS:
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
Try everything twice. On Madams tombstone (of Whelan's and Madam) she said she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times!

Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches;)

Keep learning : Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

Enjoy the simple things.

Awww you're just making excuses for stealing that orange. What I would like to know is what did you and Sherry do with all your "stuff" when you moved into the mobile home?

Trick or Treat!!! Happy Halloween!!! I got goodies ready in case kiddo's stop by but where we live there aren't many little ones. Hoping some of the grandkids will be able to come. My sister in law sent me a link the other day that sounds kinda like the one you have. I carved a pumpkin while I was drinking my coffee. Never carved a real one in my life but that was fun to do and there wasn't any mess to clean up, haha. What happened to Shirl's journal? There aren't any entries in it the goblins must have ate it.
