He Has Risen

Entering the Yukon for the first time was a wonderful experience, the area is absolutely beautiful...

Happy EAster

We as Christians believe that Jesus the Christ, rose from the dead on this day. He was later tyo leave his folks physically. And when he departed He said there would be a Comforter. We now have that Comforter, that is what gets us through the problems with children. It helps in marriage problems. The Comforter helps us realize we must say good bye, but not forever to our loved ones. Below is a piece of prose. After getting the name from Debbie,I looked for it on the net. I found several but this one says what I want to say to my family:

Miss Me, But let me go….
When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room.

Why cry for a soul set free....

Miss me a little - but not too long.

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember the love that we once shared.

Miss me - but let me go...

For this is a journey that we all must take,

And each must go alone,

It's all a part of a greater plan,

A step on the road home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart

Go to the friends we know...

And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds.

Miss me - but let me go.

Now when I reach the end of my life I want to know I have done my best to let my family know what I really want. At Easter when He was given back to his followers for a FEW days, he was bound to leave again, They missed Him, but they had to let Him go. They never forgot HIM, they knew where he was. So My family should never say We Lost Dad today, because nothing is lost, if you know where it is.

***Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
***Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
***You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

What a lovely post! Though I'm not religious, I see great meaning in those words.

I also have a plan to travel North America by motorhome one day. How wonderful that you are doing it!

Yukon must be gorgeous. As a Canadian, I'd like to have visited more of my country, but that will definitely happen in the future!

I feel the same way. You know I have even changed my plans. Love the line why cry for a soul set free. Have you changed and don't want
us to hire mourners and cryers. Put it in
writing.
