Friends in Kentucky!!!

Since I learned that this was a burning bush, I thought I would have a little talk with it. Well guess what? It said friends were coming to dinner! Then it said Guess who?
Surprise, Driving all the way down from Owensboro to visit was, Gary!!!! Oh he also brought our good friends (whom we had never seen) Debbie and Terri.

We had a great time of introductions and life talk. It was great, and yeah, as you would guess they are as nice in person as on their blogs. Well Gary isn't a blogger, but he sleeps with one.

After an early dinner we all came down to our house. I only regret I didnot take a picture of Debbie inthe drivers seat, I got a kick out of that. So much so I forgot to take the picture.

Of course I had to brag to Gary about my tool rack and weasel some free mechanic's advice from an expert. (LOL). He gave me a tip on my valve noise in the Honda.

The visit regretfully comes to an end, the bloggers and the boss Gary. He really is as nice as DEbbie says he is.

Here we are looking out our windshield as they drive off, ready for the long ride back to Owensboro. This will be published before they reach home. I know they will be tired. Jeff did not come with Terri, he had some work to do so we missed meeting him. Next time we will get to see the love of Terri's life. It was a joy to see these folk that we only have talked to via e-mail and blogs.
Glad you could share our day. When the 'Shipslog' meets Gary, "Boondocks, flapdoodle & beyond" & "Memories and Sweet Serenity".

Seems as if nature is still able to provide misteries, like this talking bush.
Happy for your joyful time. May your Sunday be alike.

Hey Jack & Sherry, It was WONDERFUL to be able to meet you! I was a bit nervous on the trip there but as soon as we hopped out of our vehicles with everyone grinning from ear to ear I felt at ease with both of you. You & Sherry are down home country folks just as I'd imagined from reading your blog and emails. Thanks for making us feel right at home.

We got home about an hour ago and you're right we're tired. I could never be a traveler like you & Sherry, that little trip wore me out. Time for me to lay down and rest these weary bones. HAHAHA!

Love & Hugs
Debbie

Your lucky a voice did not come from the Burning Bush, saying, "Jack", "Jack"" Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is Holy Ground."

It is a beautiful Bush.

Glad you enjoyed your company!!

Well, you are so close to the WigWam village! Have you been there? I think it is b/w Park City and Cave City KY. We used to take Katy there and go with Lisa and Don and another couple with all our kids....go to Mammoth cave and stay in the wigwams and grill out every night. A nice cafe for breakfast there too by the interstate...I cannot remember the name. Hope you all are having a good time.

I think that is wonderful. I would love to see
them I am so jealous. I knew they would be sweet and nice people by reading their blog.
To meet someone you blog with is so great. I happens so seldom. I know Terri is a hoot. I
am surprised she didn't have to stop on the way and shop. We both shop like we are on a mission
from God.

How cool that you all got together. We were Journaling long before blogging so it has been a long time. Terri has MY little dog. She says I can borrow him but she never brings him down. Simply great that you all got together. Looking good there, ladies.
