Florida again, Ahhhhhhh

For years our trademark in RV parks has been our names on a shipswheel. The others were taken from an old ships wheel wine rack we bought in VErmont.
This one is real. I love the ships wheel, I think it is going to look good outside.
That is a small grapefruit tree, full of fruit, here in the park.

You would be surprised what folks travel with. Here is nealy a complete GYM in the guys yard. In the back ground is the ranch our RV park borders on.

While I was stopped to take pictures my lady got ahead of me.

If you can tell, one of the past times is walking the dog (s) this lady has three on leashes, folks are good about cleaning up after their dogs.

Looking back past the flag here you can see a covered motor cycle, and a portable motorcycle garage. These are dedicated bikers.

The park is less than a quarter full lots of open space, we sorta like that.

This particular unit belongs to a preacher. His wife is an invalid and he takes care of her here as well as he could in North Carolina, and he can bring her outside to enjoy the fresh air. He is also a guitar picker, Many of the guys are and all enjoy the jam sessions to which everyone is invited.

There are some Christmas decorations. This one has the mirrors covered with Santa's hats. That serves a two fold purpose, one is decoration the other is to prevent the birds from hurting them selves pecking the 'other bird in the mirror'.

I was beginning to think the rancher had gotten rid of the cattle, but there they are in the distance.

Warm enough for shorts and halter tops as you walk the dog.

Love the orange trees down here.

The rancher has so many beautiful horses this year, I thought maybe he had given up cattle and was just boarding horses. I think I counted about twenty.

MOre Christmas decorations.
New neighbors coming in. They are met by old friends they haven't
seen since last year. Some of these folks have been camping together for a long time.

Something new across the fence in the ranchers pasture, no idea what it is.

That is our lonely coach all alone in it's own row. NICE!
Thanks for coming to
Florida with us.

PS:
A grandfather was delivering his grandchildren to their home one day when a fire truck zoomed past Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children started discussing the dog's duties. "They use him to keep crowds back," said one child. "No," said another. "He's just for good luck." A third child brought the argument to a close"They use the dogs," she said firmly, "to find the fire hydrants."

Sounds like everyone has a good time and I imagine you and Sherry are right in the middle of those jam sessions listening to the music. That joke was cute. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Fresh fruit sounds great.

Nice Pictures, does not seem like we were just down there, It is currently "Snowing" and blowing, we have about 2 inches of "SNOW" in the past hour, the temps are going to dip down to ZERO with the high's in the 20's for the next few days, I like the snow because it has to be up near 30 to snow.
Never seen anything like that thing in the Farmers field by the fence!!!
Hope you are enjoying yourselves!!!!
Take Care!

Hey Jack and Sherry! Found your blog after receiving your card. I just ordered four of your book from Createspace "Why Not Forever" with plans to give one to each of our girls - one for Frances and me. I'm sure that you know by now that the G.A. will be in Orlando next year. I'm not at all sure that I'll come. I retired last Assembly (Aug 08) and am enjoying it to the hilt! Bought a bass boat - which was in water twice this year. Still hunting. Ck me out at fbrannen.blogspot.com
Best Regards
