Bye BYe Las Vegas, Howard and Aggie

We are gearing up to depart the area. I want to apologize to all who I promised to drop a quarter for, I didn't lose a thing, neither did I win. So I am better than most who enter a Casino. We did eat at a Casino one night, the food was delicious. We also had Chinese with Dewey and Aunt Agnes today. The waiter vounteered to take our picture, if we would just leave!!!!
Below is Howard, Sherry, Myself and Aunt Agnes (Aggie)

Below is Howard's living room wall. He is a Hollywood buff. Has his picture taken with at least forty movie stars. Including Debbie, Ernest Borgnine, Mickey Rooney, Tony Curtis, Jane Russell and Johathan Winters. He has bought a beautiful place in North Las Vegas.

No philosophy or advice tonight. Yeah I know that is so hard to believe, coming from such a wise man. Tonight time is on my mind. Time zones are important. They are a frustration that is for sure. They cause what is now known as jet lag, when a person flies a long distance and catches up with themselves. Its funny, a person can leave Washington, DC at 12 noon and fly directly to LA @ 500 mph . He will fly six hours, but land in LA at 3PM. Now if he could fly at 1000 mph he could land at 12 noon, the same time he took off from DC.

I know that doesn’t mean anything, but it is now 8PM here in Las Vegas and we have a clock we do not reset, and it shows 11PM in Charlotte, NC. It is about time to get up and go to work. Sherry loves time and temp. She reminds me that it is going to be 101 degrees tomorrow and it is going to be 85 in Belmont, also it is going to be 56 in Pocatello, Idaho. I forget this stuff. I have a one track mind and she can think of more than one thing at a time. She is born a multi-tasker. Okay all you ladies, you don’t have to tell me, that is a woman thing. You guys can do ten things at once.

Now to break things up and forget all that time stuff, here are some pictures of night in Las Vegas, I hope you enjoy it.

The above was snapped inside the casino where we ate. To be honest, I am not familiar with Casinos much, and Now with all the new machines, I'm lost. I could not find one to drop a quarter in. It wanted my credit card......

The Stratosphere at night

This is just to make the 50's car buffs drool.

Thanks for coming by the LOG.

Are the big beautiful cats still in front of one of the casinos where you can view them through glass? Bet things have changed a lot since I was there.

I'm glad to hear you didn't loose any money anyway. The pictures are amazing. Going through so many time zones on your trip would make it difficult, but the fun you are having is worth it. It's only 54 here this morning but it should warm up to mid 70's today.

If mamas didn't multi-task there'd be a lot more diaper rash and hungry husbands.

Love those night scenes in Vegas! Beautiful pictures. Oh - and is that a '53 Studebaker Hawk? What a car, the old Studebaker, ahead of it's time.

Great pictures. Wish you would have won a couple million and divided it up among your faithful readers. Need a new pc. Not going to buy one when I am this close to a new year older.

The slot machines also no longer have arms you can pull - they just have buttons to push. Kinda boring.
