Tractors and hospital stuff

I dug out the back pack, that is a day back pack. I will take Sherry’s lap top in to work today. Okay not work into the hospital. Hahahaha

We missed church Sunday; I have a touch of a cold and didn’t want to spread it. I have it under control now with Contac. No runny nose, sneezing or coughing. I don’t plan to be close around anyone.

I think we have been around the hospital longer than most folk. The staff are recognizing us as living or working here. At the coffee shop, “Joe’s java” they give a free cup every ten cups and I think Sherry has gotten five free coffees. Hahaha!

The dirty piles of snow are slowly going away, only one day out of 7 they are calling for snow showers. I hope that changes to Bright Sunshine!!!

We may make that planned trip to Buchanan across the state at the end of this week, I am looking forward to that. The last time we were there the farmer up the road had some delicious tomatoes!!! Huh oh, Sherry said we were there in July, and he probably won’t have any now. Shucks. Haha

Tonight is into the teens then Spring (I think).

I met Ricky today. He is a guy that I have seen in the waiting room three days straight, I asked if he lived here.

Maybe I am getting flaky (That is rhetorical it doesn’t need an answer, okay!)

(c’mon, I need an answer!)

To some of you all the tractors look alike, but to a farmer, they know them.  I have owned at least four of the above. One a Ford 8N 1948 is still running also.

John has that hearing problem also. He just pretends he hears sometime. John has two tractors. A big John Deere and a small David Brown. I think they have about stolen everything off the David Brown. I used to love the ride the big John Deere with John but the last time I was so sore I couldn't hardly get out of bed so my tractor riding days are over and I think his are too.

glad you are recovering from your cold, Jack; don't pass it out to Sherry. I think its neat that people are starting to recognize you guys as regulars there and interacting with you and giving Sherry lots of free coffees!!

hope you can take your planned trip later in the week!

Hope you get to feeling better and Johnny soon
improves so you can get to warm weather. Funny
thinking you may work there. Maybe you can do
some visiting to patience who don't have any
visitors. LOL Hope it soon warms up for you guys. It is cold here with rain I think just for
this week. Don't know anything about tractors
but they are nice to look at.

Feel better real soon!

Love the photos of the tractors. I rode in one once as a child. That is all the memory I have of them.

Be well.........Hugs, Rose

Loved the pictures of all the tractors. I would love to own one - but guess that's out for awhile until I get past all the reprimands over this Kawasaki Mule! Haha. I noticed no one tried to answer your question about how many times you should ask again what a person said. It's a little frustrating for the person you are asking - but worse for you - so I say ask as many times as you feel comfortable with. I'll keep answering you and trying to find different words to explain what I've been trying to say. Sometimes I even try to explain in a foreign language!
