Update from Ewing Drive

No, we haven’t fell off the earth. We have been working physically (10-12 hrs a day) on our ‘new to us’ house on Ewing drive. Now, I ask you, how would you pronounce ‘Ewing’? Well, if I did not know how  it was pronounced around here, I would see ‘E’wing’, but here it is pronounced ‘You-ing’.  Okay enough of the Drive we are on.

The motor home is in place with all hook ups. Sticky done a great job on the entrance and pad. I had to laugh when we pulled down into the spot, and I went outside to attend to the hookups. One of Sherry’s responsibilities is to let the air out of the air ride and lower the coach. When I came in she said, ‘You won’t believe it, the coach is perfectly level without using the leveling jacks!’

Of course I said, “You must not believe what I say in the books about Sticky, he is good at his job!”

Shirl came over and started on the yard, she and Sherry also removes some wall paper along with cleaning. We have decided to leave the ‘striped wall paper for now’, The paper is over paneling.

I have separated the bathrooms and added a small hall to give the house a half-bath.

Thanks for all the e-mails, calls and comments. I wanted to tell the Log.  I will put some pictures on, if I can get some good ones.

Nite Shipslog

PS: I am sore all over!!!!!! I am getting OLD!

Yes, we have all missed you Jack and I've been to the end of the earth with my safety net, looking for you. It's good to know that you were not hit with the storm damage. Wish I was closer where I could help you with the remodeling job. Mmm...on second though, maybe not! ☻ We do miss your entries here on the blog but understand your need to spend more time on the project. Do stay in touch.

Checking in to make sure you 2 are doing OK, we had our FIRST DAY of temperatures over 70 degrees, it was actually warm enough to put on a pair of shorts when we went FISHING for the first time since being home!
Love you 2, take care

I know what you mean by it getting long, those 12 hour days...now that spring is finally peeking here, our days are getting onto 14-16 hrs. No wonder I walk around in a daze. I'm dizzy enough.

Sure have been missing you guys, but sure do understand the 'need' and 'reasons.' It sounds like the new place is coming along nicely.

Sorry I didn't see this last weekend...I'm always a day late and a dollar short.

Thanks for stopping by. Loveya, Missya, Hugya, Kissya, and you too Jack.

So glad to read your post and sounds like you are closer to being what you want than before. Lot's of hard work and I am looking forward to pictures. It has sure been quiet on the blog without you and Sherry and Shirl's little comments. Spunk seems ok now. He found the drawer where I keep his last for the day, bones and now he sirs on he floor and wags his tail and howls cause he knows where the goodies are.

Excited for you all and I am TOO familiar with the wall paper deal! I know that is a lot of hard work ANYWAY, moving in a new house and making it functional to your liking. Expensive too. Ya'll take care! Don't work too hard.
