Mr. Craig

Whoever he is, he was one smart fellow. Have you  ever used craigslist.com? No cost advertising. I put our boat up for sale, because I cannot handle moving it around to easily anymore. Itfishing foldabote sold with in two days.

I inherited  a pet kennel, medium size with this house. It is in my way, so it is listed on craigslist. Shirl gave me a bike a few years ago, we hauled it around and rode it some, so today, it went on craigslist. I have two folks interested already in it.

kennel2

I am not much for selling, most of the times I give something away.  If I knew anyone who wanted the last two items, I would give them away also.

cannondale2

(Notice I did change the banana seat for one that fit my rump better)

Ever heard of a Cannondale bike? This is an older one, and not in too  a shape. Being hauled on the back of the car or MH, the sun has had its way with the vinyl on the cables. Cannondale's sell up into the thousands of dollars, for a bike???? This one is on the low end of the hundreds. It is a nice bike though. What do old folk know about 18 speeds? Most of us have one. hahahaha

The bike I had before this one I paid $1.75  at a yard sale. I pumped up the tires and it was ready to ride.

Come to think of it, I bought the little trailer we have used so much, off Craigslist.

This has been an unpaid ad for Craigslist. LOL

Thanks for coming this way,

Nite Shipslog

A. Paul Lynde: Tape measures..

Q. During a tornado, are you safer in the bedroom or in the closet?

A. Rose Marie: Unfortunately Peter, I'm always safe in the bedroom.

Q. Can boys join the Camp Fire Girls?

A.. Marty Allen: Only after lights out.

i donot know2 woodie

This is listed in my photo’s as “I don’t know Woodie”. But I lLike it.  Any clues for me?

I do like Craigslist! Sorry you had to sell your boat, but glad you found a buyer for it rather quickly!

I think as long as people are careful with how they do business on Craiglist it is relatively safe; there was a young teen murdered in this area a couple months ago when he responded to an ad to buy a computer. He met up with the people, was robbed and got shot.

So do be safe and wise!!!

Never used Craigslist but John's renters are always selling something or buying something and they don't even have internet service. Usually a rooster, chicken, bird. Hummm

I usually wind up with pets, not the kennel.
I know plenty of people who swear by Craigslist.

Oh My, Jack! So sorry you had to let the boat go - but I do understand. I have a sign I taped onto mine a few weeks ago. 50 horse, 14 footer with live well and fish locater/depth finder, trolling motor, an extra seat, all -complete with life jackets. I haven't had the boat in the water in two years...so I need to let it go. Don't ya hate to have to admit that we are just too old (or lazy?) to use the boat that much? Ha. Enjoyed your post a lot. That bike would have been a joy to me about 3 or 4 years ago when Eddie W. bought his!!!

Oh no!!! You sold my boat and now you're selling my bike!! Just when I was ready to start riding again. Seriously, the things you do without first consulting me. I know it's too late on the boat ~ but I want the bike ~ will you ride it up here for me??? I have no use for the kennel ~ Slim like's his doghouse a little bigger than that. LOL

I hate you had to sell your boat. I think my little bro bought a cannondale bike once, wonder if he still has his. We had a thunderboomer here in Alabam today...lost electricity for about an hour...but we survived... :) Love from Bama, Sheila

I have a bike hanging in the garage that needs to go too. Well It's not be out and about in over 10 years now. I won't sell it though. It'll go on the curb and I'm sure someone will take it before the rubbish men do. Great that you have such success with selling. Hope your Wednesday is a wonderful one.

Good you have some great photos and memories of
boating, great idea to Craiglist! A few months back when my washer quit (dryer not heating well either) I started shopping :( My brother suggested Craigslist---hadn't occurred to me. The first ad I called was a guy who had a heavy duty set cheap---as it happened he'd been gifted with a new set and both used appliances were in excellent condition. I saved about Six Hundred bucks :) Betty is right about using caution, actually DavidLuke checked it out for me and when told they were in the garage discovered it was a "Harley" garage immaculate and an adventure as well. It is a great resource--maybe I'll clean out my shed and do some posting--thanks for the inspiration!

I have never used Craiglist cause I do not think I could sell one thing out of our full basement. I have heard something about a man using it and getting the name of a girl and he murdered her.I may be wrong on that but it was something like that. She had advertised erotic entertainment. Sorry you have to sell your boat.

I can't believe you are selling Mel's bike and
boat, You probably ruined her July 4th holiday.
Remember what we sold in a large Church Parking
lot. Largest yard sale of the year and I still
have items left. Maybe we will do it again
in 6 years, MAYBE. HA HA

Have used it successfully several times. Lately, best method is to put something in the front yard by the driveway, and it simply disappears.
