Houston, We have a problem!

I remember hearing that on one of the moon missions.  ANY problem, is a REAL problem, on a moon mission.

Houston we have

But like many other old folk here on the net I do something that I do not realize, and it presents a problem. My little problem:

When I open an e-mail over half the time it looks something like this:

what in the world has happened to me

Where the X I used to see a picture and a message. (Of course this is an e-mail about FB birthdays), but it happens on many of my e-mails. Sometimes when I click on the little block I get what I am looking  for and sometimes it takes me off into left field. Most of the time If I click it, the system says ‘Loading’, BUT NEVER LOADS.(tied up)

Problem 2

I hate  using the restore because after going thru the motions, it comes up saying ‘unable to restore’.  One time I was told it was my Norton that kept it from restoring and I think I suspended it and got the restore to work, but it hasn’t worked since then.

I am thinking it might be my e-mail settings Imma check… I found nothing. Now I just got another one it seems it is mostly anything having to do with FaceBook. I clicked something about circles once, I am afraid to do that again. I am not a fan of FB, but I do go there sometimes.  Mostly I get lost as I am finding ‘cursor-over, pop ups’  drive me crazy.

problem 4

Have I done enough griping?  Yeah, probably more than enough.

another porblem

(And I think I have a problem!)

I like Santa in the pretty red car. I don't have any little red x's to click with my Window 8.1. Boy! I thought what am I going to do now. I was putting stuff on top of stuff. Finally read my Dummies book for Seniors so now I swipe from top to bottom and it disappears into the bottom to where I don't know. So much fun but so frustrating at times.

I don't have that problem with emails; I'm thinking I don't even get FB notifications any more. It can be frustrating trying to figure out what to do to get our computers to do what we think they should do :)

Santa looked mighty fun in that car!

I'm having a problem signing in to Blogger, not emails. Love Santa in the car.

I just know how to turn my computer
on and off. Read E-mail few
bloggers and answer e-mails and
get off. I am not to savvy, but
I get it done.

Norton was a problem for me years ago. It snagged up on so many things.
I hope that you can find out what the problem is within your computer. I'm sure it is frustrating.

Jack are you on the same computer I'm on? lol - we don't use Norton- there is Avast which is free. My emails come thru Outlook. But I have my own gripes for sure!

Computers are soooooo frustrating!

Strange that your email is acting up like that. It can be frustrating when things don't work right. I wish I knew something to help but alas, I don't. Usually when things don't work right I ask one of my sons. I've been on the computer for years and years and never had that one happen. Of course that doesn't mean it couldn't. Hope you get it all sorted out. It's a little warmer here today. Most of our snow is gone for now...

«Louis» checked his settings on Facebook the other day and was shocked at what he saw. Somehow they had his phone number - and he had NEVER given it to them. It was set so that anyone could get it, which was specifically why he didn't want Facebook to have his phone number. Go into Facebook and check your security settings. You may not be as secure as you want to be! I don't trust them. They've caved to Obama and the NSA and their founder, Zuckerberg, is promoting amnesty for illegals.

You could tell Edsel wouldn't last long when after the first year they lost body styles and features that were exclusive to Edsel and became nothing more than a warmed over Ford. One of «Louis'» relatives had a '59 Edsel like the one you show Santa in - except it was black and white.

Check your settings on Facebook.

Don't click on the RedX.

You can download Microsoft Security Essentials which is free. Just make sure you download the correct one for your computer. Choose Windows 7 or 8 or whatever operating system is on your computer.

I stopped using Norton years ago.
