Weather, consistently inconsistent

(Pictures also from Woody)
from Woodie 1a
A couple nights ago Woody (Gary) in in New York started a fire he could not put out, he asked on Facebook, What is the temperature where you are?
from woodie 2
Wow the number of comments and the range was amazing. Answers from all over, temps were the same (all over the (lower) scale), except of course many were WAY DOWN THERE!

We even reached the mid 30’s here in central Florida. There is one blessing here in the Sunshine State, the sun will shine and the temps rise during the day.

Now that Christmas is past and the New Year is here it is time for us to plan our summer and year.  This one should be fun. Cousins Tony and Nicky are planning a family get together, I really don’t want to miss it. I wish I knew all my cousins. But with Daddy having 8 brothers and 3 sisters and mama having 3 sisters and a couple brothers, it becomes a big nest…

My intention was to prove I could do a short blog, talking about the weather.

So I quit for tonight thanks for coming this way!

PS:
Funny how we get upset at a weather man when he misses a forecast,  like he coulda fixed it. LOL

How fun with the get together with your family, Jack! Definitely not one to miss indeed! I know, I wish I knew all my cousins too; but mom came from a family of 10 kids and dad's were in Poland, so just grateful for the few I do know :)

Weather here today is supposed to be about 55 degrees and sunny :)

I am cold from looking at the pictures of all the snow.

I went to the get together last year that is how I met Nicky and Tony and it has been nice. I think me, you Harold, and Bob may the oldest ones left on the Darnell side.

Hope you get to go to the family get together. That snow looks cold. We have another messy day. Need to go to the store and dread getting out in it. John already fed the cattle and had a flat.

When I used to listen to the local news rather than reading it on the internet, one of the sportscasters would use "Boo-oo!" as a quick interjection before describing something that was bad. In the banter back and forth with the meteorologist, someone said it was going to be boo-oo! chilly. That stuck with me. It is boo-oo! chilly here today with a glaze of ice on quite a few surfaces here today. No power outages at my house, though, so I'm thankful for that.

Love those vintage cars. Glad we are not facing the snowfalls seen in those pictures.

Great photos.

77 degrees here in South Florida.

My daughter emailed me this morning and 37 degrees in Boston today.

Hugs, Rose

It would be nice to know all my cousins too. I have many I haven't seen in years but also have some I've never met. With large families it does work out that way. My mom and dad each came from a family of 10 kids. Having a reason to see some of yours sounds great. We started the day at -5 and we're going up to 15 they say.

I probably writer about the weather way more than I should :)
I love the vintage photo. Where do you find them all?

It is cold here, but no snow or ice! I have so many cousins I don't know all mine either - but I would like to like you. That sounds fun.

Funny, I used to roll my eyes when mother would get on the phone with friends and relations, asking about their weather ... now I'm doing the same darn thing!

Here in Phoenix, we're in limbo: Car's heater a-blazing in the morning and I'm running the A/C during my afternoon commute. Long as it stays beneath 100, I'm a happy camper!

I see one of the old cars in the snow is a Studebaker!
