WE have raised/selected a bunch of mean-spirited people to lead the USA, it is called ‘Mud Slinging’ & Dirty Politics.

Jeb says Trump isn’t Serious! He is a Jerk!

Bernie slaps Hillary

Hillary needs a Spanking

Funny (not haha), we will elect one of these people to lead us and the rest of the world.

Strange, once the campaigning is over, all of a sudden one who was called an SOB by the other, is all of a sudden, my best friend and will make a great president. (And I hope he finds a place for me in his/her administration).

The list is long and will get longer as this CRAZY campaign continues. I hear politics has always been a hurtful business, I have read some quotes from campaigns of the past.

Warren G. Harding 1920: “Cox and Cocktails”

Herbert Hoover 1928:” A Chicken In Every Pot And A Car In Every Garage” (My Dad’s favorite campaign promise, he remembered it)

Eisenhower “Clean House with Ike and Dick” is the one I remember.

 James Blaine 1884: “Ma, Ma, Where’s my Pa, Gone to the White House, Ha, Ha, Ha”

(During the campaign Cleveland was accused by a woman of siring a child. He admitted his indescretion and supported the child. He was not married. He won because he never denied it, told his campaign to tell the truth, but Baine used it and lost.  Some compared it to John Edwards, except Ed was married and denied it, to his end, it cost.)

But somehow, looking back over my lifetime, it seems it has been politics as usual. Not a great difference no matter who gets in.  There will never be another Harry Truman who drove himself home from the White House, and licked his own stamps for mailing. In the past few years EVERY President was either wealthy going in or RICH going out.  YOU  FIGURE!

Yeah, I will vote, I haven’t decided for whom yet, but I will vote.  In my years of voting I have dreamed of a time I would not have to ‘Choose the lesser of two evils’ (IMHO) to vote for.  I do not think it is this time.
