Freedom still Rings in the USA

 Historical Photo:

I started not to make a post, we both are a little tired but the Fourth of July is a special day. I love this country.  If you are not a citizen of the USA I am sure you love your country also.  But this is the United States of America and I am proud to march to the beat of it's drummer.

I have had kin serve this country in every war since the Revolution. I remember when our very freedom was actually challenged by Germany and Japan. My brothers, uncles and cousins (both in laws and immediate family) served proudly and assisted in preserving this FREEDOM.

I do not believe for a second that this country is headed to hell in a hand-basket. The news and some politicians would have you believe we are not, and never will be united again.  Friends, we have always been divided.  We have NEVER agreed completely EXCEPT WHEN OUR LIFE AND FREEDOM IS CHALLENGED then the challenger finds WE ARE BASICALLY ONE, WE are the UNITED States of America.

This country has survived presidents and politicians of all stripes, and are still here to tell about it.

The Fourth of July is our Birthday.  I am happy to be here and proud of my country that has allowed me the opportunity to love and live here, without threats due to my race, religion or life concepts.

Do not believe every conspiracy theory you hear.  I have some great grand kids! YOU do too!  And they will grow up to support this country and yes, I BELIEVE that in time of crisis the youth will rally to keep this country FREE.

HAVE A GREAT FOURTH AND CELEBRATE  THIS IS A WONDERFUL COUNTRY.

YES, someday our Grandloves will follow tribute to stay UNITED in this wonderful country. You wrote it so well! I thank God every day for our fortune in living here. There are fireworks going off already at 7 a.m. It's like an explosive AMEN!!! I thank YOU, my family of so many uncles, cousins, grandparents, my twin, Dad, who have all served. I'm honored! Loved all your photos too. Have a most wonderful celebration today. Love to you and Sherry from our part of America to yours where our flags fly freely.

A very happy 4th of July ! I'm with you. I remember a saying that said united we stand divided we fall and yes we still stand. We have so much to love about our wonderful country and many freedoms others don't have. Makes me very thankful! We are the home of the free because of the brave.

You are right on everything you say here.
I have never met anyone that was in all three branches of the military - that was awesome.
And freedom is not free and not without trouble.
God Bless America! sandie
