Our Sunday morning is a ritual. No matter where we are, if there is a McDonalds there, we stop by for one biscuit, split two ways with jelly and coffee. Then we head to whatever church we have chosen that Sunday. Today it was our NC home church. As we approached the door The GREETER says, well I see you made the papers this weekend. The article was printed on Sunday. They gave us ¾ page including pictures. It was a very good article. It is funny, the first e-mail I opened when coming home was from my cousin Ken Herron, in Dalton, Georgia.
“Good article in the Gaston Gazette about the books.” Now how did he find out and we did not know. Wonders of the internet. Ken is the author of ‘Amos, in the Islamic Holy Land’. He does a weekly column for the local paper there. Anyway I was glad for the threads, which are below. I don’t think the pictures are there.

Thanks for the response for the new book. As I have said many times I don’t get upset if the books are not ordered, on the Blog. I bought one of Ken’s books one of the few books I have paid the retail price for. So as I always say sometimes (LOL) what is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Anyway hope you had a good weekend and are ready for Monday. We are going to an early Birthday Party for BIL Elmo. He is 82 tomorrow. By early birthday party, I mean at 8AM. I am usually sleeping away at that time like he should be. But we will get up, the least I can do for the lad.

An elderly woman walked into the local country church. The friendly usher greeted her at the door and helped her up the flight of steps, "Where would you like to sit?" he asked politely.
"The front row please," she answered.
"You really don't want to do that," the usher said "The pastor is really boring.."
"Do you happen to know who I am?" the woman inquired.
"No." he said..
"I'm the pastor's mother," she replied indignantly.
"Do you know who I am?" he asked.
"No." she said.
"Good," he answered.

The article and pictures in the newspaper were real good. Took up the whole page. You be famous. You are up in the papers as Mother would say.
Hey there, you are moving up in the world!! Made the news papers!! You deserve it. Did I ever tell you I finished Rags. Thought it was funny how the boys thought someone was talking to Satan I am very glad to have read both books and had thought of asking if you still have one about the mule. If so I would like to have one.
That's super that you got almost a full page! Nice photo of you two. I miss having a local newspaper! Well, there are some here, but all in French. I have a Sunday ritual too, it's going to get an extra large coffee at Tim Hortons! And usually a donut or two for good measure, ha ha!
