A little Family time

We went out to dinner with the Boys last night.  Mark called his mama and asked us to wait for supper last night and let’s go out and have fish.  So Sherry called Jack, he called the twins and it was all set.

FAMILY TIME 002

(Josh,Steve & Paul)

Mark worked late on a roofing job, so the rest of us sat around the Motor Home and visited until he took a worker home and got ready.

It is always such a pleasure to be around Jack and the boys.  They also brought a friend Paul, we sat and joked around. It seemed to be Steve’s job to pull the pranks but I think Josh has taken over. He was using my computer and left the screen up side down. Then pretended to not know how to right it.

FAMILY TIME 008

Jack has a new toy. He has an Android or something like that. He spent the evening looking up things on the net for everyone.

FAMILY TIME 006

Sherry was taking pictures at the ‘Captain’s Cap’ while we ate. One time Sherry was lined up on Josh & I and he elbowed me I turned and Sherry snapped. He got a kick out of the picture of the back of my head.

FAMILY TIME 005

(Mark & Steve)

It was great to sit across from my sons and try to chat. I cannot hear 10% of what is said, most of the time Sherry interprets for me, if she thinks I should really get it.

FAMILY TIME 001

Anyway I am Thankful for the time with Mark, jack, Josh, Steve and Paul.

Just to be Thankful, And yes, I had my girl!

PS:

OK ..... so if the  Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the 'Jags'  and the  Tampa   Bay  Buccaneers are known  as the 'Bucs,' what does  that make the  Tennessee  Titans?

How lovely it is to see your smiling faces today. Family time is just wonderful. I know that like every thing else in life there is a time and place for it. We probably wouldn't enjoy it half as much if they were around every day. But those special moments are wonderful. I haven't been out for fish in a long long time. Sounds like something I really need to do! Have a great Sunday!

Jack, thanks for allowing us to visit your family with you. It's almost like being there to read your blog. It seems some of your grand-children may have inherited your sense of humor and out-going character. I think the Tenessee Titans are called the "tights"? Bbbwahahahuah!

How very important a measurement of time and life. May you all have a good start into the new week.

I'm not touching that last one with a ten foot pole. Glad you all had such a nice family time. I will be going to my daughter's near Houston on Tuesday.

So nice to spend time with the kids just relaxing and joking around. The boys are all home at the cabin, alias, hunting shack, as it's rifle deer season this week. We've been having a good time in spite of the lack of buck-luck. You and Sherry are still the sweetest.

They're TITS!! TITS I tell ya ... tits!

So happy you had such a great time again with the family! Also, I enjoyed catching up on your prior post. I love the look of old cars too ~ but I can never remember what they are. Slim is pretty good at recognizing them. It must be a man thing. There sure was a lot more pride in a vehicle back in the day ~ today they all just blend in with each other and all look alike.
Also, loved the post about swimming ~ I think kids are afraid to jump in any water now that doesn't have clorine in it. Too sad ~ it just seems like they don't know how to make fun without an electronic toy in their hand.
Catch up with you later ~ gotta go get my buck!
