Sicker 'n a dog! hahahaha

What do you take for a runny nose, sore throat and cough? I used to take Contact, but I have problems finding it. Sherry took Contact once and did not like the way it made her feel. She said it made her feel light headed.

Well I took something in our medicine cabinet, I think it was Claritin D. So when we went to WalMart, I picked up what I thought was the same but it was just a card board flyer saying take to the pharmacist. I did. Man I had to give my history, name rank and serial number. I told the girl I bet I don’t do that again.
When I showed it to Sherry she said Shirl had given that to us last year, that she did not like it either. But now I have it. It doesn’t work as well as the old contact did.

Yeah, I joined the ranks of the sick and afflicted. Makes you mad especially when we don’t be sick that much. But HEY, I enjoy the petting by Sherry!
Now Sherry is a little under the weather. I told her I did not give it away. I got it from Lucy who got it from Joe. And since it is Joe’s I ain’t giving it away. But I did promise to return it when I am through.
I hope you guys have a great weekend. The weather here is nice, I sorta hate to head back North next Wednesday.

My sweetheart did laugh when she saw kleenix stuffed up my nose. Some times you resort to drastic measures.

Take care and thanks for coming by the Log.

Love that invention of toilet tissue on the head and the little boy is sooo cute makes me want to cuddle him. Its a shame when you find something that works they stop making it. Something settles in my left teeth and it hurts sooo much to chew. The one medicine that helped they stopped making. U all feel better soon.

So sorry to hear you're under the weather. Time to get out the Vicks Vapor Rub!! I swear by that stuff. A little dab on the nostrils, a nice slather of it around your neck with a soft towel over it so you don't get all greased up ... and if you're really really sick... a little swipe of it on the bottom of your feet with a good warm pair of socks and off to bed for night. AND... Chicken soup for supper ~ it's not only good for what ails you ... it's good for the soul~ I pray you're feeling better soon; or I'm coming down to take care of you!!! That comment alone ought to make you bounce back like a yo-yo.

I agree with Mel Vicks Vapor Rub and hot Chicken soup will help. I've tried Tylenol for Cold and Flu with good results. I hope you both feel better soon. Take care, jean

Oh no...I hope you feel better. Hey, you know what works for me? Chicken soup - or any kind of broth type soup AND several days in a row of having a Sonic Sunrise. It is that drink with 7 up, orange juice, grenadine. Works like a charm as the bubbles get the vitamin C through your vains. I also read today that Vitamin D can cure the flu. So I wonder if it can cure a cold? I'm big on Vit D since it makes me feel 100% better.

Self treatment for the common cold here: Liquid Nyquil for a good night's sleep. Saline solution for clearing the sinuses. Used to use those neo-synephrine nasal sprays, but they are addictive. And finally - I keep a roll of paper towels close at hand. T.P. is just not big enough for my nose! ☻☻☻

And I meant to say - sorry you are feeling so bad.
