Pro-Life and Tearing up a church (And WE WON)

Sunday we had a great lady speak at the church we were visiting. She was a ‘Pro-Life’ lady, and she spoke with such fervor about her life. It was such a mixture of blessings and then full of disappointments. When she finished I was truly impressed. For one reason I seldom understand what a speaker says, this time I got over half, and it was interesting.

After church we tore the insides of the church out, I helped a little. We hope to have it back ship shape by next weekend.

The tooth doesn’t hurt as much thank God. I was at my wits end.

Hope you were happy with the Super Bowl. WE WON! Yeah, us and our new friends from up country Wisconsin. Dar, Mel, Cher and probably Mama, they never have said I don’t think. But Congratulations.

Sherry has me an appointment with the Dentist t Lake Panosofkee. Don’t you love small towns? Around home you cannot get an appointment in less than a month.

We have had rain, I worked a little at the church this morning, pulling nails and cleaning wood.

Take care and thanks for coming by the log, I appreciate it.

It seems no matter where you go you wind up working. Glad you are able to help out so many. I like that quote today...we will never be this young again. That is the truth. Take care!

I absolutely LOVE the baby with the gift card from GOD. How wonderful to be so recognized. It is so great you can help with the church repairs, even needing repairs yourself....hoping that tooth is getting better. Have fun at the dentist. He will make you all better, I'm sure.
Thanks for the Green Bay Packer support. And, Yes, MAMA too. She is just about as big a fan as the guys. She and I are still learning but enjoying every second. You are right, I'm enjoying the day while it lasts. Mom and Dad used to always start their day, with " This is the day the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it." One would start, the other would finish the verse...Psalm 118:vs 24. Beautiful way to greet any day. Many of us have kids have hugged that verse and held it close to our hearts like it was written just for us. God is good.

Glad that lady has taken a firm stand. I like to see and hear of people doing that. My sister in law once said to a group of the family here that she believed it was a woman's choice to do with her body what she wanted to do. I spoke up and told her that I didn't think a woman's body should have that choice, that is was a child's life she was speaking about. It got really quite when I spoke my piece.
I am glad that you can soon have that tooth seen about. Good for Sherry making that appointment for you. Glad that you helped out at the church repair.

Missed a few blogs. I hope you get that tooth
fixed. Nothing more painful than a tooth ache.
We had a man speak at the Church on Parenthood
that has just moved to Belmont. They are doing
a good job. Another job no pay.

Wish I could have been there to help with the repairs! I know the joy that goes with doing that when you are doing it for free. Thank God your tooth is better. When you hurt it's hard to be sociable. My internet connection has been messed up for two days. Finally I think I have tracked down the problem and am glad I'm at least able to read blogs again. What did I ever do with my time before blogging? ha.
