There are some Forwards in my e-mail that have gems...

                  (Look what is parked next to us! better picture later)

Now for today's entry:

This has been around for some time, but friend Joan sent this and I thought it was good enough for the Shipslog (smile)

Six short stories:

{1}
  Once all villagers decided to pray for rain,
on the day of prayer all the people gathered,
but only one boy came with an umbrella.

That's FAITH

{2}
When you throw a baby in the air,
she laughs because she knows you will catch her.

That's TRUST

{3}
Every night we go to bed,
without any assurance of being alive the next morning
but still we set the alarms to wake up.

That's HOPE

{4}
We plan big things for tomorrow
in spite of zero knowledge of the future.

That's CONFIDENCE

{5}
We see the world suffering,
but still we get married and have children.

That's LOVE

{6}
On an old man's shirt was written a sentence
'I am not 80 years old....
I am sweet 16 with 64 years experience'

That's ATTITUDE

 Yeah I know it ain't original, but I like it.

I am slowly getting a handle on posting again. I am hoping when we get back in the Charlotte area that my Live Writer will straighten out.

I do okay here, but I have a tough time locating and posting the pictures.

Today is a moving day.  We head back to Belmont for a few weeks.  This has been a good break, but I did not finish my book. I still lack a few chapters. I did get to do some more research, but the internet connection is very slow here.

Nite Shipslog.

This is what  our neighbor had the nerve to park next to us:

                                                                           1956 De Soto

That DeSoto was one tough car.

Yes you are doing well with your posts. I enjoyed the forwarded email. Some are full of wisdom and some give a good laugh. I appreciate both. Hope you have a safe trip back to Belmont.

I'd not seen these 'shorts' before ... but enjoyed them very much!
That old mill photo is almost intoxicating. I mean, some people relax viewing aquariums or fireplaces, but this is really special.

Hope today's travels were uneventful!

Sweet car that DeSoto. Loved the stories told. But I must tell you the one about trust would be difficult. I hate to see anyone throw a baby in the air. I think it is too dangerous. Sorry to hear Live Writer is still giving you fits. I had trouble connecting to this post of yours. Glad I didn't miss it. Have a safe trip. Elsie is a cutie pie.

I feel your pain on travel wifi. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's not worth a toot. When we went on our cruse a few years ago, I wrote the entries in advance and then scheduled the post over the course of the trip.
