WE have company

Grand loves Sherece and Luke brought Stella down for a couple days.  Their dad came over from Port Richey and brought Stella a bike to ride.  They went to see the Manatees at Blue Springs then over to Daytona for today.  Sherry had a big breakfast like she used to cook our family every morning. Then for supper she and I collaborated and made country style steak in gravy with real mashed potatoes and green beans.

WE cooked in the motor home (except her biscuits) BUT we did eat in OUR new house for supper. Breakfast was in the Motorhome.

For some reason I am beat, I cannot stay wake again, I think it is the fact that Sherry is getting older.  :-O  I did eat too much.

I am probably tired because I was assigned the job of baby sitting Kayla and Dalmatian (Dal) for short.  I had a diaper bag and all the trimmings. BUT I didn't have to change one diaper!

Life is good.  Stella came in excited, saying she  saw an Alligator at Blue Springs.

Thanks for stopping by the Shipslog.

How sweet is THAT?! Country fried steak and gravy sounds mighty good right now.
Hard to believe, I lived in the Bay area for almost 15 years but never took the time to see the manatees. Such sweet creatures they are ...

I came by to leave a comment on yesterday's blog ... with my apologies for being so tardy. Somehow(!) today's break-time never materialized. Anyway, I was gonna award you a faux purple heart for daring to drive in 'that' city. I've a dear blog friend who's lived in Manhattan for 30-some years now, but come to think of it, I don't think Carol even owns a car. Those residents sure must be made of stern stuff than me.

Sherry country fried steak and gravy, mash potatoes, biscuits and green beans sound so good and is making me hungry here at bed time.
I know you and Sherry is enjoying that little beauty. Take care. Jean

How fun to see Stella and spend some time with the grands! Dinner sounded delicious! A great way to celebrate in your new home down there having family over for a good meal!

You had me at Country Style steak and gravy! Yum yum! I bet you were a good baby sitter. I remember seeing many gators floating in the waters as I crossed the Tampa bay back in September. It was while I was in the back of a limo and alone so I could not share the excitement with anyone like Stella! I bet she is a precious one!

Nice the family is coming in to visit you there. I can imagine they were all excited to see your new home! Your Stella is a joy and brings the enthusiasm of youth your way. These short days with little sunshine make me tired and I could easily hibernate all winter. Take care and enjoy your visitors!

I'm not a southerner but we know Country Fried Steak up north too....sounds so wonderful, and green beans are my favorite veggie fresh out of the garden.
So nice to hear you have the Grandloves with you. We had to see all of ours this weekend.....it's our early Christmas together and cannot wait. It's always a joy.
Love from up north where our oldest grandlove celebrates his 18th already. I'm feeling the age creeping in again......hugs all around.
