9/11 the true REAL nightmare

 September 11, 2001

No amount of retaliation will bring back the USA as it was prior to 9/11. There are people today, planning and thinking, hoping to do even greater harm to our country.

That said, WE WILL STAND PROUD IN THE FACE OF THAT CHALLENGE.

I love the USA, I will respect Her Flag (ensign) and stand for her anthem.  Those who gave all for our freedom deserve no less.

Today my heart hurts for those directly effected by the actual incidents on that day in NYC, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon!

God Bless America!

You are right it's a nightmare that really happened. It affected us all in one way or another. Who could ever forget.

Perfectly put, Jack.
Another of my blog buddies (Carol, at Buttercup Counts Her Blessings) wrote of 9/11: "My pain is their remembrance. I would have it no other way."

A resident of Manhattan, each anniversary Carol shares a touching chronicle of her experience. Today is no different. Perhaps you'd like to read it?

And never forget all those passengers who took on the plane heading for the White House.

I've been watching the "Voices in the air"...and tears come to my eyes listening to the phone conversations that people on the plane had with family and messages that were left on answering machines. I will never forget that day and listening to it today reminds me that we all were changed on that September morning.
