Now for today's attempt at feeling better, but I am not sure it worked:
Weird. Your skin looks like leather, but is as thin as paper. There are a lot of old people around, and you realize you are honestly one of them. You look better than the rest of course, but still you are old. Then you wonder just how long does ‘old’ last?
Childhood is roughly 0 to 12,
The terrible teens. 13 to 19 (I believe these are the REAL memory years)
Young folks are from 20 to about 35 now.
Then you have Middle age. I think that is from 36 to 80, according to your health and ability to lie to your brain.
But Old? How long does it last?
Now to be honest I DO NOT like the answer, “You are as OLD as you feel.” Because a few days ago I felt like I was 46 and a half. Today I feel closer to 85 and a half. So with that answer, I fluctuate. Like my weight. I just don’t like it. Is there any way I can feel forty six and a half all the time? If the answer is YES, please go into detail for me so I can ‘save the answer to my PC’.
If it requires medicine, make sure it is over the counter ‘cheap’ meds, like aspirin.
Okay I am going to quit and take this body that feels 85.5 to bed. I will look for the earth shaking news tomorrow.
