Cars and animals:
Some thoughts for today:
Sorta trying to eke out an intelligent post. I read and look for inspiration.
I read https://thecontemplativecat.blogspot.com/2023/03/write-like-there-is-not-tomorrow-write.html?lr=1
I cannot comment there, but do get a kick out of here entries. Today
it was about writing and I feel completely LOST. Too much pressure in life at times for the
old. I do read and enjoy the blogs I read.
I happened to talk to a man at the hardware store the other day, he is
5 years clean spent most of his life in prison. 5yrs ago he completed a 15 yr
sentence, but thanks to his mother and dad he has been clean.
I had a nephew who spent most of his life in prison, died straight and
living right in his early 40s. Had a BIL who spent most his life homeless (his
choice) but died in a loving home of one of his sons.
WE take the good with the bad and try to go on, but it is tough, it
makes it hard to think…..
Thanks for stopping by, I may not be writing or commenting but I will
try to read. Love you guys

PS:Do you ever think of the parents of people like killers, robbers and addicts? Think of the parents of that shooter in Tennessee! Do they blame themselves? Some things are tough to live with.

I sense something going on - you okay?
I do feel bad for parents when their kids go the wrong path. We had some trouble with our youngest when he was a teen and spent lots of crying hours wondering where we went wrong. Thankfully all's good now and he says it wasn't us, just his own stupidity! Many people do blame parents when their kids screw up and make them guilty by association. Nobody knows what goes on in one's home. All can look good but not be the best place. But we all have free choice and can't control everything in life. We have to take the good with the bad. I hope all is good in your family today. Hugs from us Jack!
This reminds me of a meme I spotted on FB. Resonates with me, for sure: "The human brain is amazing. It functions 24/7 from the day you're born and only stops when you sit down to do some writing."
It's still GOOD to 'see' you, Jack!
We're off to UAB in a little bit; at least the sun's shining.
I am sorry that you are having some problems in your life. You and Sherry are in my prayers and so is your sweet daughter-in-law. It is so hard to watch those we love suffer and go through medical (or mental) issues.
I do think parents probably blame themselves when their children commit acts of terrorism or even just live a rough life. I am always glad to have someone get clean and live a productive life after falling into crime earlier in their lives.
Blessings and love to you and Sherry- Diana
