Moving NORTH

Well, one of those unforeseen things has happened. We are pulling up stakes and heading for Shirl’s RV Park. We are on the road as I make this entry.
Brother in Law Sonny isn’t doing well and our good friend Louise isn’t either. So since nothing is hindering we are on the road. We are on I-10 headed to Jax then North to the Carolinas. Sherry is at the helm and keeping it between the ditches. Sometimes I think when she is driving she hits all the bumps. LOL. She is a good driver of this thing, really.
Sherry finished the laundry, I picked up three doors for the trailer back home. new were fortunate that the books came in before we leave Florida. I need to stop and buy a Lottery ticket. I hate to pass up the chance to become a millionaire.
No, this move has nothing to do with my inheritance. It is still on solid ground. However there is a turn, since my little sister is just a year or so older than I, and since she is in better health than most fifteen year old girls. I assume she will take care of me in a nursing home and spend her own money on Vacations and wild men. While I race Sherry walker against wheel chair.
It is nice to dream of though, Ah, a South Pacific Island, tropical breezes and those funny drinks with the umbrella! They are being served by pretty girls in grass skirts, HEY REAL GRASS SKIRTS! Well it was a good dream, until I realized she is in better health than I. Drats, my luck.
Next entry will be from Shirl’s RV park in Belmont, NC.

PS:
ARTISTRY OF INSULTS.
When Insults Had Class (no 4-letter words!!) These glorious insults are from an era when cleverness with words was still valued, before a great portion of the English language got boiled down to 4-letter words, not to mention waving middle fingers.
"I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend.... if you have one." - George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill

"Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second... if there is one." - Winston Churchill, in response.

"I feel so miserable without you; it's almost like having you here." - Stephen Bishop

"He is a self-made man and worships his creator." - John Bright
(I love that one)
