I mentioned yesterday that we would start our trip around the USA in about a month. I really do want to call it something, a catchy title because I will be feeding my blog on the local paper with each entry. I had at first said it was out ‘Final Tour’ but that sounds toooooo FINAL!! Thanks for allthe suggestions so far.
I am looking forward to this trip. I admire you guys who can stay on the home front and handle the problems, innuendo and rumors. Family squabbles etc. I guess I have gotten used to not having problems close by.
Lord, give me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
COURAGE to change the things I can,
And the WISDOM to know the difference.
AMEN
My entry a few days ago dealt with that prayer. I am still having problems with it. It seems simple on the surface, but in reality that short prayer holds and says a lot. When I am away it is easier to live this prayer!
Concerning my hurt arm. Someone asked if it prevented my driving. No, it does not. The pain is when I have to try to put the arm above my shoulder. However there are some functions about setting up and tearing down that I will have to ask my sweetheart to help a little more. Other than that, we are ready to hit the road.
This Wednesday we will go back to the mountains for a three week vacation. We need the relaxation before the trip.. Hahahahaha! I am expecting the arm to be completely healed by that time.
Thanks for coming by the log, we are looking forward to reporting our travels here, so come back.

Well I am back and had a good time. My title
for your trip "Around the world in _____blank
days or "Last World Tour". I would rather not
think about you leaving but I know you are like
Willie "On the road Again".
Shirl
I'll be waiting for news as it comes of your travels. I'm glad you are vacationing first...and that your arm will be healed by then. I agree with you about getting away. Even the little distance I go is a good thing too.
looking forward to your trip, Sherry and Jack! since I already took my vacation for the year, I'll pretend I'm traveling with the two of you; make room for me and Koda in your motor home :)
I know you guys will come up with the bestest name for your travels too! good to hear the arm doesn't cause trouble with driving, but still I know when you start out you want to be as physically fit as you can
betty
There are a lot of state parks around Provo that looked promising. I wish I had time to visit them all. It's funny I keep visiting the places on your list.
Hope your arm is all better in time for your trip.
I've got to think about a name for your next tour but the word "final" should never be mentioned to me or anyone else of Jack Benny's age.
I'm way behind on perusing all of my favorite journals so suffice to say, I too was in love with the 1955 Chevrolets and Fords. Both cars had great engines and were excellent vehicles.
Style wise, I don't think any car could compare to the 1957 Chevrolet.

Lo0king f0rward for y0ur trip,i really love y0ur little prayer...h0pe y0ur arm gets better and y0u can enj0y y0ur trip and share with us.stay healthy.
Shirl's entry made me think - I heard that Willie Nelson's funeral arrangements were being made... What Happened? "He was playing on the road again!" Be careful out there! ☻☻☻
I can say one thing for sure and that is that until something happens that MAKES you stop driving and traveling, Just keep on going. You have itchy feet as my mom used to say, Can't stay in one place long enough.. Follow your dreams as you have in the past. Hope your shoulder gets much better. Tell MJ to go easy on you till you go.
Hey Guys!!
My vote is for the "Magical Mystery Tour"...you never know what you'll run into...lol
Enjoy
You guys always amaze me with your travels! I guess I'm just a home body type person! But, I get to travel through your blog and your eyes!
Hugs,Rose
"On the Road Again", sounds great to me. Shirl knows you best, and I agree with anything she says aboutcha.
I rely daily on the Serenity Prayer. Our Lord means for us to turn to Him as His CONSTANT tour guide.
