Who do I BLAME?

When I was a kid I remember very little of politics. There was only one political church in all of my dad’s pastorates. The small town of Valdese in the South Mountains had about the same number of Democrats and Republicans. The only thing I can remember was the Republicans blamed wars on the Democrats. Ike, who was the Republican, declared to stop the Korean War if elected. The Democrats blamed the Republicans for something.

I know as I grew up, folks appeared to blame major things on groups or government. We as a people learned well, so now on an individual basis we must blame someone for anything bad. It started with some doctor blaming the mother and father for children’s failures.
Fergie blames booze.
Bush blamed congress.
Obama blames Bush,
Losers seem to blame the Tea Party
And I blame Sherry (LOL).

Since getting older I have learned to despise the blame game. Blame doesn’t fix a thing. If something needs to be fixed, fix it. IF something or someone is responsible then shoot them or put them in jail, according to how serious it is.
I read a report that was supposed to be from public records about who is the baby’s daddy. The one I remember :
My two babies was born on the same day. I blame H. Jones for one, I don’t know the daddy of the other one, could have been anybody at the party.
We seem to want to BLAME someone.

PS:
I blame this bad entry on my shoulder; I can’t concentrate too much with the ice pack on it.

First, I hope your shoulder is getting some relief. Ice is my best friend, I mean lots of it, til it burns and then is just therapeutic. Mel and I used to love to lay in Lake Superiors icy water for our therapy for what hurt. It works. If all else fails, blame the doctors. They aren't much good for more than listening to the pharmacy companies, who listen to the insurance companies, who DO NOT listen to us.
Oh, the blame game....its a vicious circle.
Have a great Sunday in spite of all your pain.
I feel for ya, cause I've been to that unhappy place waaaaaaaaaay too many times. I really should apply for disability, but who's to blame for my misery except bad genes. And I sure don't want any of the relatics to feel to blame.
BlessYourHearts, you and your sweet SherryBride

guess the shoulder didn't "magically" feel better today; sorry about that Jack. You are right, we do live in a blame game society; and heaven forbid we should ever take the blame ourselves and admit we made a mistake or were wrong about something. hoping your shoulder feels a bit better tomorrow and that you and Sherry have a great Sunday!

Jack, you blame, because that's the name of the game! ☻ It's been that way since Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent.

I agree with you that we need to get with the fixes, but we do have to find the source of the problem in order to make it a permanent fix, not just a Band-aid. "Naming and claiming" is not the same as blaming. Like you can name and claim Sherry's complicity in creating your children without blaming her for the outcome.

You are so right on with your comment about the blame game. Like the oil spill. It does not matter who made it happen, Fix it!!! Any one that can needs to fix it but I must admit, to me it is almost non fixable. Good luck with that shoulder. MJ does not look that strong but I know Joe has all he can do to hold Spunky when he sees a rabbit. I do think Ice is the way to go and Ibuprofin for the pain. I hope you have not decided not to take something to ease the pain.

JACK, ANOTHER PROBLEM CONCERNING THE OIL SPILL, IF NOT STOPPED, OILY WATER MAY FLOOD AND CREATE CITIES SUCH AS VENICE, THEN LATER DRAIN BACK INTO THE CAVERN WHERE THE OIL CAME FROM.

WAIT THERE, - - - ONLY KIDDING FROM THIS OLD COUNTRY BOY.
IF FOOLISH SPENDING COULD FIX THE OIL SPILL, OUR PRESIDENT WOULD BE UP TO THE JOB. PIE IN THE SKY SPEECHES WILL NOT DO THE JOB ANY MORE THAN THE SPEECHES CURE UNEMPLOYMENT. sam
