Shoes and Ultra sound.

We have been on a trip. Ordered by doctors. There was first Sherry’s physical. Then a trip to the VA hospital for an ordered ultra sound.
My wife knows about medical stuff, so I asked, What is an ultra sound? She grinned and said that is the noise you make when…….., Just kidding. She said, 'one use is to determine the health and sex of the unborn baby!'
“REALLY? That woman doctor thinks I am pregnant?”

As Ora would say ‘Sheesh’! I think I said something else. I knew we had plenty of time before the motel check in so I asked if she wanted to stop by the Concord Mill’s Mall and walk to pass the time. She smiled and said she thought that was a good idea.

SHOES! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

We have a wedding coming up. Joshua and Britany. Sherry has bought her dress, she and Evelyn did that a week or so ago. BUT I did not know you also had to have special shoes too!
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY PAIRS OF SHOES ARE IN A MALL? In one store alone I counted the shoes on display on one island. Fifty pairs, know how many islands in the store? EIGHTY that is 4000 shoes on the islands alone. Not counting the ‘clearance racks’ and all around the walls!

She found a pair and a clutch purse there. WOMEN HAVE TO BE VERY SMART, TO go through and remember the ones they liked, then go back and FIND that pair. Of course I helped by carrying the ‘last’ selected pair.

I am not pregnant, I am not a woman and if so, I wouldn’t last one day! It must be nerve wracking to be a woman. Oh, and the shoes? Some of them look like they are into bondage with all the leather straps. SHEESH! You could also die from a fall from some of those high heels! (or at least get a nose bleed!)

WE are home now, How do you people afford to stay in motels?????? Get an RV or a tent for heavens sake.
Thanks for coming by the log.

Leonardo Da Vinci invented scissors. Also, it took him 10 years to paint Mona Lisa 's lips.

You have never seen my closet and the amount of shoes I own!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm crazy about shoes!

So, what's up with the ultra sound???? What is the results? There is a reason that the doctor will request that you have one.

I just had one not that long ago as I'm having problems with my liver enzimes......now they just sent me to a Gastro doctor......this never ends!

Be well my dear friend.

Hugs, Rose

I do hope all is well with the tests and ultra sound. I would never take my husband shoe shopping and it was something he had to do on his own when he needed some. I bought everything else for him. He didn't like shopping at all so that was about the only time you ever saw him in a store. You were great to go along and count the shoes.

I hope you haven't given Sherry gall stones... :)
My hubby took my youngest to pick out some shoes when she was really young...when he came back he said 'I am never taking her shoe shopping again'...ha. She didn't find any to suit her...ha. She didn't take it after her Mom, I don't have a closet full of shoes...maybe her grandma...? Hope all goes well with the physical and tests. Sheila

Hope all is well in your world as far as the test goes. I always have a lot of shoes and can't even wear many of them and yes I did give a bunch to a friend.

Glad she found her shoes. She could have shopped in my closet. My sister and I really
loved shoes. I love to shop. I am spending
Jack's inheritance as fast as I can. Maybe he
will not read my comment.

How very interesting and impressive, so many shoes ! Guess it would make a wonderful "theme" to share various shoe shops/styles from all over the world and yes, there are many in this house as well, belonging neither to me nor my son.
I'll have a better look from now on to shoes and will let you know with what I came up with. A wonderful Friday for you all.

You're talking about sex in one entry and the next day you're having an ultrasound to see if it's twins..dang you work quick. Then you lay the shocking news on us that you aren't a woman. I thought we were about to see history unfold. HAHAHA! Seriously, Jack, I do hope the ultrasound shows good results and hope Sherry's physical went well too.

I'm a barefoot kinda gal..shoes ain't my thing, I wear them only when I have to. Glad Sherry found some to go with her new dress for the wedding. I sure you're all getting excited about the big day.

Love ya'll

Even my 7 yr. old granddaughter is a shoe fanatic...they must fit right, feel good and look cool. It's a girly thing, Jack...I can't believe you stood there and counted them!!!you are a keeper to be so patient...Bill is lucky I shop alone for shoes., a very few I have gotten in the last 6 yrs. You are more likely to find me barefoot or in sandals. Can't feel the feet anyway.
As for Mona Lisa and Sam, he observes the Mona Lisa's smile and finds the answer...frisky.

I did forget about the upcoming wedding, how exciting!!! glad Sherry found what she needed for it; I'm sure she will look stunning!!

I'm with you Jack, I'm not sure about some of those styles out there; they spell disaster to me if I was to attempt to wear them

I'm very glad you're not expecting a little Jack Darnell. That may be one too many Jacks Darnell.
