Nice weather (for now)

Sherry has been saying I need to take some pictures to put on the blog. Here is one I took last night.

x

Above is a picture of Sherry in the Shower, The glass is pretty fogged up. She will be embarrassed, but I hope it comes out..

Other than the above excitement, (When Sherry sees the picture,) you can send flowers to Belmont, NC % the funeral home, we only have one.

Today was a great day. The weather was nice and Jack (#1 son) came by for a visit. I mentioned in another entry that is one of the pluses for being here. We just talked and talked, it was pleasant.
Grandson, Josh, is off on an out of town trip to Langley AFB. His new job is giving him a lot of travel time. I told him if he got to liking the bases they would pay him to live on one. Hahahaha! I don’t think he likes them that well.
Mark has been working out of town, but has finished up. He came in bringing a Pool table this evening. I was sorting junk, in the rec. room and watched Matt and Vegas shoot some. They are pretty good. Maybe one day I will shoot a game with someone (If I can get Sherry to try.) But then being a ‘gamer’ she will probably beat me. HA!
It is cooling off and the folks in Kentucky and Alabama are sending us some more rain.
We have been pretty tired lately, but it is a good tired. Sherry fixed beans, cabbage, cornbread and salmon patties last night. Tonight it was slo cooked BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuits. Both meals were DEEELICIOUS.
Well, thanks for coming by the log for a visit.

Hey Grandpa! Great entry, as usual. As far as getting paid to live on one of those bases, you'd have to run that one by Brit...and then she'd probably run you over :)

By the way, I'm at McConnel Air Force Base in Wichita, KS this week; I will be at Langley about two weeks after I get back from this one.

Love you!

I didn't live too far from McConnell when we lived in Kansas. The B-1's flew over our house, could be quite noisy at times...ha. When I clicked the X a picture came up....ha..
take care, Sheila

What a beautiful silhouette of Sherry in the shower. I do believe you missed your calling in life. You should have been a professional photographer. You sure know which side your breads buttered on don't ya Jack. I can see you grinning from ear to ear when you typed that big red X. HAHAHAHA!

And WOW! Speaking of big ya sure don't need a magnifying glass to read your blog. LOL!

Hard to beat a good old home cooked meal. Both suppers sounds yummy.

I've never heard of anybody getting hurt playing pool so I guess it's safe for you to play a game or two since you can't ride it. HAHAHAHA!

The rains gone here but it sure is chilly now. I don't think we ever made it out of the 40's today.

Love ya'll
Debbie
