WE moved our home a little South!

We have moved South. Not far enough, but near Tampa. WE are at Hillsborough River State Park. This is a beautiful park and we hope to have a campfire or two.
This has been a rough winter all over the northern hemisphere evidently. I know, I know, I ain’t seen nothing. Hey, when you expect to see 70-85 degree weather and you see down to the lower 20’s and average around 50-55 that just ain’t no fun. Had I been a prophet, and known the future, we would be in Key West or Yuma, Arizona.

At least you guys are losing weight shoveling snow and sliding down and busting your behinds etc. AND you get snow cream anytime you want it.
The Hillsborough River runs through this park. We are hoping the weather clears and warms enough to walk they have some interesting trails here.
We are not far from St. Pete and we have some OLD friends there. Plus Judy, a dear friend from Maine, is staying in St. Pete for the winter, we plan to see her.

The trip down went well, I could watch the boat on top of the car in the rear monitor, and it rode well. The ground is soft here also, from all the rain; we sank up a little but not enough to get excited about. So we are settled in our new home, I will try to give you a picture of our new yard, etc. hahahaha!
S’gar is finally finished, proofed and ready for printing. It is already for sale on Amazon, even though I haven’t received a shipment yet. I reread it the last few days, and I did good, I love it. Hahahahaha, that guy is a great author!
WE have switched our normal drink from Sam diet decaf cola to Diet Green tea from Arizona. Do they grow tea in Arizona? I thought that tea came from China. I remember a saying when I was small that went something like this, “Man, I wouldn’t do that for all the tea in China!” So I figured that is where it came from.
I just looked at the jug; if I take it to California they will give me 5 cents for it. As soon as I read that Sherry said, “Let’s go!” (gotta love that girl)
Thanks for visiting us at our new home.

THE QUOTE FROM LORI AGE EIGHT WAS A GOOD RESPONSE.
QUITE A FEW YEARS BACK WHEN MARY JANE AND I WERE BLESSED WITH A HOUSE FULL OF LIVELY KIDS, AND SHE AND I GOT INTO A SERIOUS DISAGREEMENT, SHE ENDED THE PROBLEM BY SAYING, 'IF WE SEPERATE, YOU HAVE TO TAKE ALL OF THE KIDS. sam

So you moved. I know it has not been to pleasant any where. Joe is on his way to get a new line for brake fluid to make brakes, not lose them. I have another appointment with the therapist tomorrow. It has got to be less eventful than yesterdays.

been so long since we had seen the sun had to

Enjoy your new home.

John drinks Arizona green tea with Genseng and honey. It has a few chinese markings on the label sooo where it was grown I don't know cause I don't read Chinese.

Jack and Sher - why not just move to Key-west now? I think I would have if I were in your shoes. Well...really ... I guess not. I would go to Yankeetown, about 12 miles N of Crystal River. I'd stop at Charlie's Fish House (in C.River) and have some mullet roe and grits! ☺ ☺ If you haven't eaten mullet roe and grits you're missing out on one of the great pleasures of Florida!

hoping your move south produces better warmer weather; love Sherry's comment about coming to California; make sure it is Southern and close to San Diego; that would be fun to meet you both in person

glad you guys got to your new home safe and sound

Hey Folks, thanks for the visit. I envy your being able to just pick up and go whenever, wherever, your little hearts desire...God Bless You Both on your adventures. If you're ever in North central WI, I know where you can get a good drink of water and a garden full of produce.

The News just announced that the temp will go as high as 80 degrees by Saturday here in South Florida. I hope so. This is the coldest winter I have experienced here.

Be well and stay warm!

Hugs, Rose
