Half a kiss.

Now I have griped about this root canal long enough, one more time and I am through. To pay for a root canal you must sell your first born or your car.  Unless you are fortunate to be rich. We fall into the category we can afford one! LOL We have no dental insurance, so it all came off the top. Funny, you pay for the whole thing up front also. I do not like that, I never collected until the work was done!

Anyway it is done and I did take the Novocain. He would not do it without it. Probably a good thing because he was in there too long. LOL

When I left out, I had been away from my girl for a couple hours, so I got a kiss in front of the dentist office. Well let me retract that, it felt so funny, I actually only enjoyed ‘half a kiss’. I tried it again and laughed. I only felt the top lip kissing.

Now that is important to a kisser. hahaha!

I can never remember getting a half a kiss before. I lived 72+ years to experience that. There was less thrill. I actually felt funny (strange funny) but I did laugh.  Oh but later, later I made up for it.

Anyway all is well, all equipment is working for the old couple. We are happy.

Thanks for coming this way.

PS:

Whenever I fill out an application, in the part that says "If an emergency, notify:..." I put "DOCTOR".

LOL about the equipment, not going down that road, no I'm not. Glad the root canal is a thing of the past right now. You are right, they do collect upfront these days. I used to work for plastic surgeons and they always collected money for cosmetic surgeon beforehand. It is a funny feeling with Novocain indeed!

Glad you got fixed up. I have had that done a few times myself and it was all morning job (wait) in the dentist chair. Lol. I have known my dentist since he was a small boy and I used his dad until his dad retired. He would have let me pay any way I could but I paid as I went. I paid what he charge for each trip. I was getting a Partial Plate the second time around and that took a few trips. I hope you are resting better now, Take care, Jean

Yeah, they demand pay up front BEFORE the novacaine. Now, looks to me like, they would want you to have some kind of drug to numb you you don't feel the pain so much when that wallet is lifted! ☻ Anyhoo! Glad your equip...er...ah...your kisser is workin and now you won't have any excuse for the alchohol on your breath when the officer stops you for speeding'

Happy to hear you got your dental work behind you. My hubby needs a root canal too. We're going to have to scrap together the money. Just like you said they want it up front. Medicare doesn't pay for that.Good thing you were only numb for a little while, so the next kiss from your sweetie was felt, as intended. LOL. Take care.

You would probably enjoy Oppfest this Saturday, they have the old cars lining the streets. Don't know if they are as nice as the ones on your blog though. Glad the tooth and the kisser is better. Take care, Sheila

Glad you got that taken care of. I hated going to the dentist. Funny, he used to fill my teeth and then give me a candy bar. Now, I think he was drumming up business. I hate to agree on TARYTARRE comment that medicare does not pay that well if at all on a lot of things. Sounds like they will cut brenefits and I am finding out that medicaire fails in many, ways to have decent benefits, lots of loop holes, and gaps.
