Realizations.....

                   (Daytona Beach 1956)
(Today's pictures from around the world)
Sherry has gone to church. it is very quiet here in the motor home, guess what? My an analog Quartz clock ticks!  I have never heard it.  It has a battery, so I didn't know it ticks. My Cochlear implant picked it up. I like that.

One (maybe 2) of my gripes:

We had Global Warming, now we have Climate Change.  I am realizing more and more that no matter what you repeat, if you repeat it often enough it becomes a fact.
(Bridge Bastel, Germany)
I am of the opinion that, YES there is, was, and always will be climate change. I remember studying in school that there were a couple ice ages and there was no CO2 emissions that caused them.  You are talking millions of years, not thousands.  Man has only been here thousands of years.
(Below is Dorset England)

Anyway you can find logical educated scholars on both sides of the fence. MOST THINKING humans know you should protect the environment.  MANY  THINKING people also think you should not bankrupt nations trying to FIX the world IN WAYS IT MAY NOT CAN BE FIXED (or it may not even be broke).  Our kids are being taught in school that to save the planet, the USA should do more, and of course China and India should do more, but it will be okay, we have agreed, if they continue as they are for 25-35 years.  Have you seen pictures of Chinese and Indian cities? Some scientists say breathing the air in these cities is like smoking 3-4 packs of cigarettes a day.
Falls Litlanesfoss, Iceland.
If they are not a threat to the world immediately, why should we rush to judgement and cut our businesses throats?  Just my opinion. And I have said enough.

Nite Shipslog
ps:
I may be AWOL for a day or so, I am scheduled in Durham, NC, for an evaluation for the 2nd implant, on Fri morn. So we are leaving today.

Good luck with your evaluation :)

I'm not sure what to make of climate change or global warning. I think there are cyclic patterns of weather; not all weather has ever been recorded. What we could be experiencing at one time could have been experienced before records were kept. So never sure what to make of it.

Love the images you've chosen today!

It's not unusual (!), but I'm with Betty on this so-called climate change. ... plus, the 'sky is falling' mentality some folks are trying to sell.

We'll be thinking of you tomorrow!
