Wednesday Time to rejuvenate or something.

 Picture of the day:

I am just learning or trying to learn to down load a video from the phone.. This was my Happy Birthday from Maverick, Dillon. and Jack Wiley. Dillon sneezed to me.  LOL

Now for today’s stuff:

Ouch, it got down to freezing here in Orlando. I feel a little sorry for folks who came down and are spending hard earned money to enjoy warm weather and fun at the THINGS TO DO IN ORLANDO, mostly known for Disney, but much more to see and do as time goes on.

It doesn’t take long for an RV to require A/C in the Florida sun.

I remember once someone asked it someone wanted to make a movie or story of your life what genre would it be? My first thought was, ‘Comedy’. But now that I am older I am sure it would have been a ‘Mystery’. LOL It still is to me.

I was a little before my time. Today change in lives seems normal. Many people I have known continued most of their lives in the same direction they started at 17-19 years old.

Chatty was putting into words what we all think or know as we age. The closer the end is, the more our thoughts, desires and hopes change.

We want to see our grands happy and successful. WE pray they stay healthy and live long fruitful lives.

Still things shock us. Week before last the pastor was talking about Paul and prison. You know if you want a back seat in church you must get there early, right. So we were late so we sat on the second row. The pastor asked a boy about 10yrs old ‘What is prison?’ The kid answered quick, it is a place where the bad guys are locked up!’

This is GGrand Jude the Dude,  He is in school now

He was sitting with his family, the dad was holding the little sister and smiled proudly, and the boy smiled big also when the pastor said, “You are correct Danny!”

I do not know these people, we are just visitors. But this Sunday the pastor mentioned his shock that week was deep, They buried the father of that family. What a shock.

Yes life is unpredictable and the older you get the more you know that. We just heard from back at our home church our friend Sonny died. I had no idea he was sick, he was always just full of himself.

Sorry, but hearing of two deaths of healthy looking people 20-30 years your junior, that were not expected, makes one think,

Just enjoy life, it is not forever…..

PS: I think Florida is waking up and remembering it is supposed to be warm!

We've some cold days here in Texas too, but for today, it will be 80 degrees. Texas is warming up again! Thankfully our cold spells don't last long if and when we do have them. Yes, life is short, live it to the fullest!

You know - I think we are sensitive thinkers - we are happy with our lives, but we do know what is coming and we think about it.
My view has changed for sure about my life.
Plus I am reading a couple of books that are dealing with it now.
Plus my kids are talking about it to us.
Plus I have a couple of friends in serious conditions.
So it is on my mind.

Now for the positives - those grands singing was ADORABLE!!!
And the guy at the bottom is too!

You never know what it will be your last day. That's why I'm thankful for each God gives me . In church we sit in the 4th row. I like being near the front, you don't get distracted by other people!!

I, too, am often shocked and saddened when I hear of someone's "untimely" death. No longer a member of that "sandwich generation", now I feel our (Tom's and my) age puts us right there at center stage. Like driving home from Alex City today, I'd wonder, "What would it be like to find a little trailer and piece of land and live out here?" before realizing those dreams are long gone.
I LOVE seeing your grands!
