Sunday .. I hope you are more observant than I

 Today’s picture:

This is Kennedy our winking great grand (She belongs to Stephen and Jennifer)

BUT for today:

Thank goodness my CC has an expiration date.  I have mentioned that I am being told to renew my MS265 or something to do with Word which I have used for years and I like it.  But originally it cost about 20$ on a disc.

Now with this new laptop they are billing me $99.99 for a year. I don’t need it that much.  If my card had not expired it would have automatically renewed.  So I am glad the card expired. Victor suggested a substitute I am going to use, I think.

I do not remember allowing them to continue to take it out, but being as dumb as I am on the stuff here on the NET, I very well may have.

WE are starting to have a paperless and cashless society.  I couldn’t believe it a year or so back when I went to buy a lawn mower the seller would not accept a check, it was in an upscale neighborhood.  He asked if I used Zelle or something like that, of course I do not.

I wanted the mower, so I had to get cash and come back, at least he did accept cash. LOL

I am getting more confused by the day with things that do not fit my mindset.

Enough, take care and have a great Sunday.

Thanks for sharing that cute picture of the winking girl. How adorable ! Things are changing at a rapid rate. It's very hard to keep up with.I'm not sure I want to bother. If someone doesn't want my check then I don't want what they are selling. Someone else will want the check. Crazy world, getting crazier all the time.

Your Kennedy's a doll!
I, too, feel so far behind regarding all these cashless transactions and apps. Last year I almost fell prey to scammers asking me to use Zelle and had my bank's Customer Service team remove it from my online banking page. The "smarter" technology gets, I'm afraid so do the scammers.

Kennedy is a cutie pie.
It says in the Bible that we will be a cashless society - maybe not in those words. We have lots of restaurants here that have signs on their door - credit cards only. I don't get it.

Your great granddaughter is sure a cutie! What a blessing!!! Regarding people not accepting checks, well, I guess they may have been burned by people before with bad checks, so I can kind of understand, unless you really know the person giving the check. I'd just as soon give them cash and not let them see my bank account numbers on a check. You just can't be too trusting these days, I am sorry to say. Scammers are everywhere.

I used to use open office, which is Apache open office now, but you can still find it by searching open office, and Jarin said Libre office is a good one. Take care, Sheila Y
PS. Little Kennedy is a cutie!

changes come so fast in todays world it’s hard to keep up.
I use my apple payt. I have my card loaded on my iphone and able to just tap and pay for everything,
Zelle is safe and it is just transferring money from your bank to someone just by using their phone number.
As far as the “Words” program, I just loaded a free version here on my ipad. It has all I need. Not sure how it works on a computer.

Kennedy is a cutie
