Picture if the day.
Now for today’s Stuff:
When I heard of ‘Global warming,’ I laughed. Then those wise men said, not necessarily warming, just a big change is coming, now it was ‘Climate Change’. I laughed again.
Now over the past 10 years this old man has watched the weather, I am not, nor have I ever been a scientist; however, I thought was smarter than they! Me a high school dropout with a GED. With a total, off and on, about a year or so of college, too lazy to get a degree.
I kept saying over and over, “Of course there is climate change, it’s changed off and on over the years, just check the Farmer’s Almanac.
I am thinking a little deeper at present, just maybe I am not as smart as I think. I am leaning that maybe those scientists do know more than I do.
Nah, imma smart guy. BUT,but… just maybe a man who has studied weather, has access to others’ research, has spent his life looking at weather full time, while I wondered job to job if it would rain before I got the roof finished on a house.
So now these guys tell me it just may snow in the
Bahamas WHAT? ARE THEY CRAZY?
Okay what I am saying is: these scientist guys just maybe right. Maybe Jack has been putting his head in the sand. Maybe I should be paying attention to taking more care of this world that I am blessed to live in.
I do not know your religious beliefs of the Lord’s return. I heard a minister once say, “I’m not concerned about saving the environment, our Lord is returning in a few days and we will have a new earth.
That IS Scripture, but also I am sure it says: Time to God is not the same as us. Doesn’t it say a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day? That is also scripture. So if the Lord is coming in 5 days, couldn’t that be 5,000 years? I really don’t think so, BUT……..
DISCLAIMER: Please, what I have written is serious, and I have laughed at the scientists and climate stuff, but lately, I am questioning myself. I sure cannot prove either direction. WE all have our own thoughts, those are mine,….TODAY ;-)

Jack, my husband has gotten into science - with a man named Huge Ross. The scientists of today have learned more and more of what the bible says is true. Especially with the Hubble Microscope out there. Proving creation is real.
They say ... (who are "they"?) ... Anyway, they say that with global warming the sea levels will rise and cover dry land. That is good news surely because more of us will have houses by the beach!
They say that to God a day is like a thousand years. That really confused Moses when God asked him to get up the mountain. He did not know whether to go today or in a thousand years time.
I'm confused with all this science. I have a hat with a little windmill on it so I create electricity as I go.

There is no doubt the weather is constantly changing. Just think of when the glaciers melted and carved out mountains for us. We were once in an ice age when everything froze. History tells the story. I guess it's a good thing that we have changes. We would get bored of the same old thing day in and day out. We were in the 40's this morning and it' going to be in the 80's by afternoon! Take care Jack and Sherry. Stay warm!
Sorry, but trying to wrap my head around these theories makes my head hurt. For as long as the good Lord allows, I just want to rise each morning and appreciate all I've been given.
The climate has always been changing and will continue to do so. :)
No one knows when Jesus will return but it sure seems to me it will be soon!
