Photo of the day:
THOSE ARE TRACTOR TRAILER LOADS OF ORANGES
Sadly most of these orane juice plants are closed now.So for today:
As I type, sitting here at the kitchen booth of the motor home, I see
some GRAND pop ups.
Yes, we live in the motor home now. WE are still in our backyard
and go up into the house to take a bath or wash clothes. You cannot wash clothes here in the coach,
the washer will only wash about one change of clothes. LOL Here we have the Splendid
washer/dryer combo. A good little machine, it will just handle only mall loads.
BUT about our pop-ups? DIL
Corinne gave us a Kodak thingee that has an e-mail address and can receive
pictures from the family. The Kodak show goes on all day, So we get to see our
family & friends from the past constantly, the sons, grands and great
grands. It is great entertainment.
WE love it and think of Corinne of course.
Nite
Shipslog
PS:
Think of the good things in life, we tend to forget those things in
trouble-times. BUT they are still there.
AGAIN THANKS for
reading the Shipslog.

Oh yes, the good memories do get us through the tough times! I love seeing the pictures of my family flash by. It does bring back all the good times we shared together. Do you go to a laundromat when you are traveling or you depend on your small load washer and dryer? At least it is just the two of you.
Well Having read your story today, and I like what you have done with your washer. How often I forgot that my family have not used any washer for the last ten years. This will be our consideration to have one real quick
I love seeing old pictures too and thinking back. It does make you happy.
I don't know what I'd do without my washer and dryer. lol We dirty a lot of clothes here.
What a thoughtful gift! While I cherish our old photos, most are still contained in albums -- in boxes ... and more often than not, a "pain" to access. Modern technology rocks!
Thank God we have good memories that can overcome some of the dark days we are going through. Hubby is in assisted living and has the screen with ongoing pictures that keep him connected to family and friends. I hope you and your sweetie are both doing well. I am still recovering and trying to get out of daily pain. I am getting there (I think). xo Diana
