I did not know the brain was so colorful! I do not have an Occipital lobe, mine is an Accidental Lobe. ;-)
So, for today:
WE have such a marvelous THANG in our heads. At
least most folks do, at times I feel I am missing part of mine. LOL. It is so
intricate and has a massive storage capacity. At times do things you thought
you had forgotten, roll thru your mind; or do you concentrate for a word and it
seems to be just out of your grasp?
I just encountered one of those things. There
is the name Marion and Marian. One is a girl’s name, one the name of a town.
Sherry gets upset when I cannot member which is the boy and which is the girl.
When I ask, my girl says, “I have told you this before, ‘a’ is for the female.”
Yeah, but my brain loses it somewhere down the
line. LOL. The above is the smiley parts of the brain function. There is a DARK
side. Neither can be explained to satisfy this OLD boy's mind.
How can an addict convince themselves that one
more time and I quit? And it leads to one more time. You see, I understand this
because I can remember well........, ‘This is my last cigarette, I quit!’ THAT reminds me of
the old saying, “Quitting smoking is easy, I have done it hundreds of times!”
This diatribe was started because of what came with
this picture:

THANK GOD that is an exception FOR THE
wonderful brain. When the average person sees this it puzzles OUR brain. WE say
NO WAY would I do that, I care for them too much. Everyone gets side-tracted at
times, the brain allows that, but for us on the outside we ask, “HOW CAN ‘THAT’
HAPPEN?”
Best not to concentrate on the exceptions. Even
when tough situations come up, the average person rolls with the punches and
lives to see another sunrise. We must be
thankful for the brain we have been given and choose the BEST solutions to
problems. Amazing, we are still in charge.

When you consider how intricate is the brain, and the body in general; you realise that it could only have been created, (made), by Someone - and not just evolved from a cauliflower, or whatever else some people would have us believe.

Of late, it seems I've more questions than answers. I'm at a loss to understand why people (like that dentist) do what they do; my heart breaks for his mother and father.

You are not going to believe this Jack; my brother was telling me a story about where he lives in Southern California. There was a four-hour lockdown. It was a mentally ill person with a gun running around the neighborhood. I know it happens, but what goes wrong with the mind. Why?
I have a brain that's getting old and on overload. It takes awhile to remember a word sometimes, but eventually after my brain digs through millions of brain cells, it does remember. I've never been the smartest person the block, but then I'm no dummy either, I have survived 81 years so I must have gained some smarts along the way!
