Saturday ... The Other Side, but first a crazy dog story.

 Picture for today:

Attention first: Yes the grands and  greatgrands all get gifts,  It is money in cards now, since no one these days knows what is needed or wanted. WE hope it is going into a piggy-bank or a real bank, but that is their choice. NOW...  Oh yes and the brand new great grand daughter is: DILLON  yep Dillon;

Above is Jack Wiley and Mavrick  David with sister Dillon Elizabeth

So, for today:

Our neighbor Beth has a miniature poodle Is that a moodle? (lol). She drives home (10-12 miles) at lunch to walk Lexi, her dog, every day at lunch. She said that on their walk, a big dog on the other side of a fence gets upset, barking and jumping on the fence, when Lexi walks by.

This looks like Lexi, She favors Grace and Macey (?) over at Myra's blog

I have walked by that area also and the dog does the same. BUT Beth said, the owner came out very upset and made no secret, something had to be done.

The big dog owner asked Beth not to walk by her house because it causes her dog anxiety.. And if you must walk by, walk fast. It is bad for my dog!

I am amazed that someone would have the nerve to give instructions on where to walk on a public city street.  There are no sidewalks on our streets in this section of town, so like the rest of the world without sidewalks, we walk on the edge of the street.

At one time I was friends with a couple of our policemen. I would've like to be able to talk to them. I just wonder if something like that has ever come up.  I cannot imagine it. I would bet I have seen a thousand dogs on the ‘other side’ of a fence running along the fence and barking at anyone or anything on the other side. I would think that the walker would have more reason to complain.

To lighten up some: Speaking of the other side…..

Victor was down visiting San Antonio at the Famous River Walk. He looked across the small river and saw Myra.  He called to her, “Myra, how do I get to the other side?”

Myra responded, “You are on the other side!”

Take care, I hope you are having a great day…

PS:

On the serious side, Victor wrote a book telling how to get to the OTHER SIDE, or your Money back.

I bought and read his book. If I don't make it; he owes me big time!

A great post! Congrats on the new baby in your life! Those little ones are so precious. Love the name and our grandson is Brody and I Just heard someone named their girl Brody too! Oh that neighbor instructing your friend to not walk by her home. It is sad how some folks think they can dictate to others. That little dog is so cute. I have been out of the blog loop. So nice to visit. I hope you and yours all have a wonderful weekend. Thank you for sharing.

I will have to look into Victor's book! My prayer is to spend eternity with the Lord. Love seeing the grands! We have another grandchild coming in the Spring of 2026. Life is good. Have a great weekend with your loved ones.

How old is your new granddaughter? MacKenzie is 3 weeks old.
I think that lady has her nerve to ask the other gal to move - but to save her dog - maybe it is a good idea.
