Today's Picture:
USAF Academy Chapel in Colorado.
SO for now:
I am getting frustrated at this computer, again today the keyboard
locked up when started this post. It is
late but I will still post.
Movers will be here Wednesday morning to do the big switcheroo. Funny
today I went over and got into my old play house. I was surprised both mine and Marks contractor’s
books were still in there. I dumped them in the recycle bin. They are so far out of date only our names
remained the same. LOL They date back into the late 1900s.
It was sorta fun seeing things I left when we moved. I left piles of
tools and they are still there.
I mentioned several times when we owned this house before I remodeled a
large storage building for Grandson Luke to have a place to live until he
finished school. He named the little efficiency “The Dog House”. The name is
still there. It has a full bath, washer/dryer, small cabinet, sink and space
for a double bed. My playhouse (tool shop) is attached at one end.
Staying busy and looking forward to settling in a new home base (for a
few weeks.). I hope to get my tools
settled in before the actual move.
From NC, the Gypsies looking for a place to settle down for a few weeks.
;-)
Sending some good thoughts your way.

Welcome to your new home. Settle down and relax as you enjoy a good drink. I'm joining you right now with a whisky to toast your good health and happiness.
God bless to y'all.
It is good to know that you'll finally move in. Sounds like you'll have what you need there ! A playhouse with tools is what you need! I know you have a lot more in your RV. No matter where you go you have tools ! That wouldn't be what I need, but everyone needs them now and then. Some tools I never touch but hammer sure does come in handy once in a while!
I can't keep up with all your moves, but I hope this is a good move and all goes well! You have more energy than I probably will ever have in my lifetime! I love all your stories and photos. I think you have lived a good life with a wonderful, beautiful lady by your side! Have a good day Jack and Sherry!
Glad to hear the move is coming along. :)
Gosh, I remember following Ship's Log when you were building that cute apartment for Luke! Time's flying like an out-of-control ceiling fan. That's a beautiful photograph of the Air Force chapel. When Daddy would drive us to Denver for a holiday weekend, my mother and I'd see which one of us could first spot the chapel's spires glinting in the sunlight. Nice memory.
So you don't plan to stay there long after the move? I would be so tired. Good luck!
