Those silly mistakes can be costly

Pic of the day;

 For today:

First, thanks for the comments. I do not delete comments unless they are vulgar, etc. I appreciate your opinions, thoughts and advice.  I am just glad you take the time to be here.

NOW,,, today

We live in an electronic world today, where one little click WRONG can expose a secret or an opinion you did not mean to ADVERTISE.  I have a grandson who KNOWS & works in this electronic world.  He is Microsoft qualified.

Once he hired son Mark to build a separate, NICE building behind his home. I had an argument with Mark about some of the work. After thinking it over, I e-mailed Mark to appologize. When I reached Josh’s home to look at the building. I told Josh that I had a disagreement with Mark.

“YES, I know that Grandpa.”

“How could you know that? I just sent the e-mail to him.”

“Grandpa, you sent that e-mail to me, I did forward it to Mark for you though.”  He said smiling.

Once Shirley sent some confidential information about someone to me, SHE THOUGHT; BUT she had actually sent it to the ‘SOMEONE.’

A few years ago, I was at a yard sale, one of the ladies was telling about having one boss she liked and one she despised. That week she had sent her feelings to the wrong boss and was very embarrassed.

I just latey made a terrible mistake. I am seldom on Facebook, but for some reason I was on and saw an old friend's picture. I had not thought of FB as a way to contact him. So, I searched his name and found his page. I typed a message to him. Telling him why I had not contacted him.  I told some family stuff that has not been advertised and IT has put me into a depressed state. When finished I tried to send it but the sorry system said he is not my friend therefore I cannot send him a message.

Yeah I have used this before, but it fits today, LOL

I am stubborn. I kept trying. Finally, I gave up. Unbeknownst to me I had published it on my FB.   I hope it wasn’t read. Much. The next day somehow, I went to my FB and THERE IN ALL ITS STUPID GLORY WAS MY MESSAGE.

I immediately deleted the info I did not want to be there. My Sweetheart said, “I was surprised you put that on, but I did not say anything!”

What about you?  Have you been foolish or tech savvy, NOT?

Thanks for the giggles, Jack!
Yep, I've made more than my share of 'oops' moments -- but my memory's not what it used to be so I can't cite any examples just now. I guess that's a blessing?

My daughter was upset with me and wrote text message of fB. Instead of sending it to her siblings, she sent it to me.

I try not to put anything to writing about someone that I wouldn't say to them face to face.

I'm so over FB and selling anything on line. Got scammed about a car on FB but luckily was caught in time. I felt foolish but learned from that mistake. Social media opens so many more opportunities for us to mess up! Ha! Have a good week Jack!

Well, I saw the facebook post. I knew immediately that it was meant to be sent as a message. Thought nothing of it.
I have sent text messages to the wrong people. It is embarrassing.

I in the last month have sent two different text messages to the wrong people. Just an innocent mixup but it's kinda embarrassing when it happens.
I need to pay better attention. So don't feel bad, we all do it. Not on Facebook so don"t have to worry about anything there.

I admit to having made mistakes before, but I think I truly did learn from them. Non of us are perfect but we're still forgiven and we should forgive too.
