PRE-55th Anniversary party.

This evening we will get together with family and some friends to celebrate our 55^th wedding

anniversary. THIS IS NOT THE ANNIVERSARY (not the actual day), BUT WE WILL NOT BE HERE WHEN SEPT. 22nd ROLLS AROUND.

We are taking the group to Catfish Cove, one of the many ‘fish camps’ in Gaston County. I have explained this before, here a ‘FISH CAMP’ is really an informal restaurant that specializes in fish.

We expect only about 20. Several things have come up to prevent some from coming. But WE ARE GONNA have fun. WE hope Steve and Josh will be singing a couple old songs. We specified no gifts, since we live in a motor home and do not have a whole lot of extra room.

SHIRL, HOWEVER. Just drove over with her card ‘FULL OF MONEY’ WOW, she said that would not take up too much room. SHE B SWEET. Thanks Shirl.

Hey, I’m cleaned up and everything. Sherry is dressed and waiting, we still have 5 hours yet.

Not all the grand kids can be here. Matt is away in College. Ben & Corey are living in Utah, just a little too far to run out here. (We use that term a lot: ‘Run out here’.) I think Paula explained that about us Southern folk once.
