Around the RV park

Sherry and I try to walk about 3 miles a day. Most of our walks are within the RV park itself.  it is always interesting to see how folks individualize their sites.

There are many name plates, and this one like many others, list their pet. This one, Lady, a dog probably , since the name is on a bone.

The Flag of the USA is very popular as well as seasonal flags. We have noticed many of the solar powered lights lately.

Yeah, we have some of your comedians from the north country. Winking smile

RV in Peace River 006

Since we are near the World of Disney, this is to be expected. Our Stella would love this.

This is a puppy and a wise owl, very small, just under the edge of the motor home

Wind Spinners are very popular. Many are home made from soda/beer cans or bought like this hot air balloon.  Note the little Road runner on the lower right.

BEWARE OF CAT! with a welcome sign and flag with solar light.

And finally the one I like, that tells the tale of the thousands of Gypsies Wandering about the country. All of us are not lost.

  • This is what we usually look like. Two flags (USA & USN) Ships wheel with our names on it and our dog. Fido isn’t leashed and NEVER barks It is a gift from our DIL Corrine.!

That was a sample of our walk. Thanks for going along. We pass many folk walking, riding bikes, the little battery powered three wheelers and golf carts.  Folks glad to again see Florida weather.

PS:

Dogs are special with RV’ers. Some are pushed in strollers. Some are old and carried, many on leashes.  Several dogs are walked with the owner in a battery powered buggy.  WE are glad we can walk outside in shirtsleeves.

LOVED going on the walk with you. Great yard decorations. Love the one about those wandering not being lost.

I LOVE the trip around the park and seeing how each person personalizes his/her space. Love this!
You know that my heart is with that last one (yours and Shery's): the USN flag and the US flag. Be still my heart. God bless our service men and women, and God bless the United States of America.
Thank you, Jack for another lovely blog.
Hugs,
Jackie

I hit "send" too soon.
I apologize for misspelling Sherry's name. I blame the keyboard. :)

Thanks for the trip around the park, I love all the pictures. It's wet here today and a little on the cool side. I'm just hoping for more sunny days.

I liked the walk too. So neat how everyone specializes their space. I always have those solar lights along my driveway to I can see where I live.

I'm not seeing the roadrunner. Am I supposed to be looking for the bird that outruns the coyote or for something else?
Well, it was too cold here today; so I just stayed inside. I'm glad you and Sherry could get out and walk.

I saw the roadrunner, but I had to "blow up" the picture to see it. Cute things to see out and about while you and Sherry go walking! And I bet it can change out as some people live and others move in. I like your and Sherry's decorations!

Thanks for the walk..as you know
we have snow and expecting more
tomorrow.

Your display is the prettiest with
the two flags.

When we spell a word wrong it is
the keyboards fault. I think my
letters move from time to time.

I hope you are having good weather
and staying warm hopefully.

Okay, now I see the roadrunner. Like Betty did, I had to click on the picture to make it bigger. Then I had to use my scroll bar to get to the lower right corner. But there he was! And a right cute fellar, too!

How nice you are able to get out and walk like that; I used to love it when we camped when we'd walk like that and see how people decorated their sites. Some really get creative. There is hardly any walking at all being done here due to the ice and snow. Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday in the sun.
