“YOU! You wrote the book. It is Awesome, I couldn’t put it down. Hey everyone this is the guy who wrote the book!”
That was a sweet young clerk in Advance Auto parts. I was there to check on the fuel pump for the Z-28. She went on and on, She was going to Amazon and order them all.
Of course that makes me feel good, that makes twice I have been ‘recognized’. LOL. Another thing that makes me feel good is to see my books listed and sold as used. Yes, even the ones signed by the author.
I told Sherry the plum will be, to run across one of my books in a yard sale.
I am very happy at how ‘Finally Love’ is progressing. I ordered 50, planning to have 20 to sell here on the Blog. Now I must order some more since I said I would have them here for $8.50 including shipping. It will be a couple weeks now for the other order to come in.
I will notify everyone when the shipment comes in. And thanks so much for those who have already read it. Sandie also put a review on amazon, Thanks Sandie.
Every writer has a ego, or we would not write. As you write, you can let your imagination run wild, and anything can happen in fiction.
I know authors who want ‘real life or reality’ in their novels. I have always preferred a story book ending. I love to read Louis L’Amour,Jack Higgins, Clancy etc, because the good guy is eventually gonna win. When I read, I want to leave reality, and dream of fantasies yet unused.
Anyway it is good for someone to walk up to you with one of your books and say, you look just like the guy who wrote this book. That happened in McDonalds one Sunday morning. I got a real kick out of that.
Life is good, and it can be a lot of fun. My oldest fan (90+) is in Maine. I just got word, her eyes are too bad to read this one. She is looking into the Kindle audio translator. I hope it works for her, she is such a sweetie..
Nite shipslog

I'm slowly enjoying the book. I like the way it ties in with Rags. I was surprised at that. Thought it was going to be a different kind of book.
It's nice to be recognized for your efforts. Congrats.
If I'd have known you were going toward superstardom I'd have been nicer to you in the past :).
So happy you're being recognized for your writing! A fantastic compliment:D
Hi again...thought I'd already bought your book, so went over to Amazon and checked my Kindle list...wasn't there...so I bought the Kindle version and hopefully when I check my Kindle it will be there :D
I'm thrilled that your new book is doing so well! Congratulations! It's an honor for me to know someone famous like you! It is wonderful that you are being recognized and appreciated too. Before I met you, in your blog, I'd never known an author before. It would be something to see your own book in a yard sale. Life is good!
That is good you are being reconized. Your picture is also on the wall at Captain's Cap.
hee hee I am proud of my Brother.
You have always been reconized for your chalked drawings and story
telling...
«Louis» is pleased that you've had to re-order your book! Congratulations!
That Voisin is a lovely car. "Voisin" is French for "neighbor".
I'm ao happy so many others including myself are enjoying reading your new book.
I'm very impressed!

Well the girls and I are back in NC. We got home late Thursday. Then while catching up on blogs I see you are camping near Advance. Are you still there? I might need to meet you there and buy me a book. What's up with this cooler weather still hanging around? Love from up the road, Sheila
