  Yard sale

Automobiles from another era:

This is an old Renault Dauphine

Notes: 1. Yes I like mayo, salt and pepper on my tomato sandwich.

2. I named the cats one, two and Three. Sherry thought it would be nicer if I called them Ace, Deuce and Trey.  Ace and Trey are the Toms.........

For today:

I know I am the only one that wants to get rid of STUFF but don’t know how. Well the church is having a yard sale this Saturday and I asked for a table. SO I did obligate myself to MOVE some STUFF.

Now what to get rid of, HA, that is sorta a joke around here.  But I now have a trailer full of stuff and you cannot tell one thing is gone.  I will probably make a million dollars…………… maybe $12.00, if someone will buy it. LOL.

At least the kitties are having fun, this is Ace and Trey.

The cats are enjoying my effort. I told them they could come to see if anyone wanted them but they refused.

Here they are playing with the sheet I have draped under the load.

You know the saying Jack, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Price it right and it will sell. Good luck!

That tray with the painted lady is beautiful. It looks like an antique.

God bless.

I love me a good tag sale! Actually, I visited my first 'garage sale' last week (since the pandemic). There wasn't much I wanted, but I always try and keep a few dollars' change to buy a little something to make the seller feel better. I remember, manning a table's little fun; particularly in this heat!

Good job clearing out so much. I hope if it doesn't sell, you don't bring it back home again. Just donate it and leave it there.

We had 1 rummage sale, it was awful, It was when we moved from next door at 31 Wilna to Senior Housing, I had a Garage full and tables outside, at 7:30AM there was a knock on the door, it was a couple Antique Dealers who wanted to look at stuff before I started my Yard Sale at 8AM! I said NO !!!!
People were mostly nice but some would bring up an Item I marked a dollar on and ask me if they could buy it for fifty cents. Some tried to remove the stickers or change them. I said Never again but here we are back next door, Garage, basement, garden shed, an 2 bedroom house full again !!! Oh well, will see what transpires over the next 25 to 30 years !!! Take care, good luck selling !!! regards from up North, Gary an Anna Mae

I won't do another garage sale for all the work and little return. I didn't bring a thing back into the house or garage. Everything left went to Christian Mission and the Hospital Auxilary Resale store...and Goodwill. It's a lot of work so I applaud your efforts. Have fun selling. Price low and lower if you don't want it back.
loven'luck from up north where the heat is on and the hay is done.
